SealeySupermig140 Mig Welder 140Amp 230V

I got this welder thinking it was gas/no gas but unfortunately it was gas only - my mistake.As I am an absolute beginner I wanted to start on no gas and eventually move to gas so returned the machine today. Thank you Amazon for you great returns policy. I opened and assembled the machine ( thinking it would work with no gas) and was EXTREMELY impressed. The quality was excellent, robust build and solid machine. The handle works well and wheels are great. I was sorry to need to return it. You hear a lot of complaints about the wire feed mechanism but from what i saw it worked well and was not flimsy. If you are looking for a gas only welder for a very reasonable price look no further.I will stick with Sealy and most likely get the mighty mig 150 and hopefully am as impressed.

The SEALEY Welders are good welders,if you want a good cheap welder, go for this one,The down side is you get a small spool of mig wire with it, but only 6mm wire, ya need 8mm to do a good job, pluss there's not much wire on the spool, good for a quick job but if your going to be using it alot, go for 8mm 5kg mig wire and get 8mm tips to run it with.

Brought many sealey tools from polishers, to Led work lights to heaters , yet this ....well, not too great.Packaging in my opinion wasn't good enough!No obvious damage, BUT excessive transformer noise and on operating trigger, before even drawing any real current (welding), a bang from the case followed by my garage tripping.🔧😥Maybe I was just very unlucky!.

Delivered by DHL in a cardboard box which has been impacted. It was evident that this item had been subjected to a number of impacts. The regulator was not fit for purpose. Item returned to supplier by Parcelforce at a cost to me of £40.08. Amazon agreed to pay £4.08 towards return postage. Please decide for yourself whether you purchase this item yourself. I am far from satisfied with the service I have received.

Mine arrived with a little damage. Contacted Amazon an they were great. Offered 25% off as was fully working, If I would keep it.Today I spent 35mins welding. I would say learning to weld. As first time with a Mig. Used stick before. But within 10-15mins had my weld sorted. an then used the free small roll of 6mm wire. And fitted the 5kg 8mm wire roll.Very easy machine to use, and if knew it would of been this good.I would not of asked for a discountGreat machine, Argon/CO2 bottles last about 40 mins plenty of time for most small jobsI have linked wire an gas, remember you will need to get some 8mm tips Futuris Mild Steel Welding Wire - 0.8mm - 5Kg Spool3 X Argon CO2 Disposable Welder Gas Bottle 60 L Litre For Gas Gasless Mig

Its been a while since i welded for a living. got this welder to do some small projects at home. half way through the first bottle and it seems that the regulator has broken.
