Knob v.poor. but unit still working

Hi, just wanna update my review, well my ballast stopped working, I was changing the settings from 600w too 250w, and the bulb in my cool shade went off, I thought this was my problem, but after trying my spair ballast, it was the ballast, anyways, I gt intouch with the company and they sent me a new one the same day, this product is quality, no other ballast like it, doesn't use as much power when only using the lower settings, so lecky bill wasn't thru the roof, 5/5, 5yr guarantee also, and they contact you back immediately if you need to return, excellent product from an excellent company, one very satisfied customer, the only issue I would say is the amount of heat it puts out when at full power, so you need to keep it out side your grow tent, but I'm really nit picking there like, a must, a mean look a the price of this awesome piece of kit, very cheap for such a good product, very excellent customer care, thanks very much

Bought this at the start of August this year. Love the design, it's well made and I have had no problems with it 😀It is silent running and I would recommend this to anyone who is as confused as I was when trying to find a decent ballast. This will power 250w, 400w and 600w bulbs and has a boost feature pushing a 600w to 660w output (I think) lolAnyway, I'm happy with this purchase, might even get another and expand my grow 😉 really do recommend this ballast.

Not very durable. I was a bit concerned when the selector knob was way out, i.e it was pointing at 400 but was actually on 250. Nevermind I thought, as long as it works, which it did, ironically for 13 months and then just packed up without reason. Always looked after it, kept cool and dry, used with surge protectors, and the other "sunmaster" ballast which was connected to the same contactor didn't fail so I can only put it down to poor build quality. They are cheap but I'd expect it to work more than 13 months.

Came with little dents on two sides. Does not look like was damage on its way. Probably was shipped with damages.Using it for few hours now. Good ballast great customer service, bought 1 of these ballasts had a problem with it got in touch with the company and the who sent me a replacement right away would recommend this company

Lasted 3 years at 400, which seems to be about the given lifespan
