The user interface can be annoying when using the mouse
Motion detection doesn't work with third-party cameras. From what I could find by searching the Web you need OWSOO cameras if you want to use motion detection.Can only use ONVIF cameras. You cannot input a video stream URL into this unit. If your IP camera is not ONVIF you cannot use it with this device.The user interface can be annoying when using the mouse. The IR remote needs accurate aiming to work.Besides all that, if you use OWSOO cameras or all you want is all-day recording this might work out OK.

The best sub £50 NVR out there!
I ordered this 4 channel NVR to record the 3 Zosi IP cameras I have round the house.Upon unpacking it you recieve the following:1 4 Channel NVR1 12v Power Supply1 Remote Control1 USB MouseThe Remote control and the USB mouse are horribly cheap feeling and I wont be using them as I have a wireless mouse attached but they do work!I prefer this style of NVR other other types as I dont have to connect the cameras directly to it, I can plug them in to my network anywhere and it picks up the cameras and then you can record them.You will need ONVIF compatable cameras but seeing as you can get ones from Zosi for £22 its not anything to really worry about.Note that you can have the HDMI and the VGA connected at the same time and it will output a 1280x1024 resolution so perfect for either monitors or TV's.Backing up the footage to a USB stick to view on a PC is easy, the NVR creates a .mp4 file.Overall for under £50 you can't go wrong!

Bargain CCTV NVR
Very good. Hard to beat for under £30. Tried to achieve same with Raspberry Pi, this is a far better solution. Needs a HDD but I had an unused 1TB kicking around. With 24/7 recording it’s can store 10 days worth of my 2 cameras as 1280x720p resolution.CMS software a bit crap but you can do everything without. Even provided with a USB mouse and infrared remote control.Works very well. Recommended.

Good quality very cheap price but if you want only motion Recording then this is not the one , I'm using reolink and sv3c camera and I cant have motion Recording unfortunately!

Poor NVR
Not very good, poor instructions. Struggles to find cameras, no motion detection unless you buy camera of the same make, hardly generic ?

searches and picks up my onvif camera but only connected to the video stream once keep getting a password error although it is the right password input....not sure if this is a fault in the recorder as pc software and android app pick my camera up faultless every time....

Good product needs to be abit more user friendly regarding recording on motion detection ! Bit over all very please with this product
