PS: Yasmin is my daughter and not the reviwer of this DVD.I was your average guy with below average gut! Last year, at the beginning of the year,I started going to gym for the first 13 weeks or so (like the year before that...) and then work commitments, trek to gym and etc etc endless excuses got in the way and the outcome? back to sitting in front of the telly wishing I could lose the weight!! This year, I decided to stop the excuses.How? well no trek to gym and do something on my own time: what? Get a fitness DVD!!! So far so good...But, if you are not serious about losing the wieght and looking MUCH MUCH better than you are now, don't buy fitness DVDs!!!Back to this DVD: In this particular DVD , you have three choices: Beginner's (half hour or so), 8 minutes or Advanced (one hour) sessions.Each session is pacey, fast, gets your body moving, your arms swinging and your legs kicking!! If you have time, you can use beginners or advanced. If you don't, you can use 8 minutes session. Whatever you choose, trust me, you'll sweat bucket loads and feel better.The instructor gets even closer to the screen and pretends he is looking at you and gives you encouragements and instructions which make you do them!!!Are you looking for one fitness DVD that you'll always love and use? Get this one. I recommend it. Well done Billy!!

SO good
Been on the hunt for this one for a while following positive reviews on amazon.com. Note, this IS different from the Get Ripped DVD in the 'Ultimate' collection (the one with Billy on the cover). Have to say, and I'll be brief, this is better than the Ultimate DVDs (although wise to start with those first as they are such a great introduction to the world of Tae bo). Really upbeat, effective, he does have issues with repeating equally on both sides as per usual but as a whole, LOVE this DVD. It works. You will lose weight using this regularly. Can't rate highly enough. Also a bit more professionally put together than his previous ones. You will work arms (those reverse speedbacks are a killer, made the tops of my arms hurt hurt for two days and I'm used to tae bo), abs, and especially legs. There is a basic 30 min version, hour long advanced and 8 min quick hit, plus instruction session. The only type of cardio exercise I keep coming back to. Excellent for home DVD workout people who hate 'celebrity' DVDs, on the basis that this actually works and is great for releasing aggression. I always end up sweaty, but happy I've made it through.

Great Music, Great Workout!
I do enjoy Tae Bo, however I recently got a little bored with the Tae Bo videos I had but felt inspired to do some more as the results you get from Tae Bo (IF you keep doing the tapes!!) aresecond to none!This is a great workout, with better music and a nice mixtureof total body exercise!As it's split into sections you can choose which one's you do(for now I am sticking to the Basic part) but know that I willeventually be doing it all!If you like BB you'll love this!

Billy Blanks Get Ripped 2
I've bought a few Billy Blanks workout DVD's and by far,I reckon this is the best one. It aims at all levels, so you've got a basic and advanced workout, and even an 8 minute workout, which is a brilliant quick fix first thing before you go to work, or just to get your heartrate going and burn a few calories. The moves and combo's are easy to learn, and you can definately 'feel the burn' the following day. Plus, Blanks is light hearted and entertaining, and has a real pleasant and motivating way of encouraging you to complete the workout.

Not for beginners!
This is a great workout if you are seriously fit and have a big lounge to work out in. The instructional workout is very good and completely necessary if you do not want to injure yourself. I am not unfit but I bought the DVD because I wanted a more aerobic work out and fat burn. Well this doesn't disappoint, however if like me, you have any niggly back or knee problems this could make them worse as you really need to get the moves absolutely right otherwise you will find yourself in trouble, particularly the kicks.Although I enjoyed the workout, I found that I have to keep repeating the instructional workout and then the main workout which took way too long and was too exhausting. You will see results but I found that I was bulking up muscle wise which was an unwanted side effect and to be absolutely frank I was scared to death that I might injure myself which just put me off!.If you need a workout without complicated moves and easy to follow instructions this is not it - I would recommend this for the SERIOUSLY fit only.

Get fit and ripped!
This dvd is simply stupendous! I have several fitness DVDs and they end up being too easy. This one is not like that because it has the hour long advance section. I did this two days in a row and by the 3rd day I had trouble walking. If you want to get fit and firm, get this. It works your heart, your arms, your legs like no other fitness DVD that I own does. Billy Blank - I salute you!
