Double Crosser Face Palette by the Balm for Women - 0.29 oz Makeup

This trio is beautiful, easy to use, and skin-friendly. The powder is pressed and pigmented, so the color goes on noticeably. The look will last all day if applied a certain way, taking advantage of the pigments. I prefer a bit more of a loose compressed powder, but this is a combination of shades and lasts. The look is exceptional and radiant. The blush is a coral mixed with some brick red. The bronzer is light to medium. The ethereal shimmer of the light shade of highlighter has enough pigment to use just a bit for a nice effect. Using a brush is probably the best way to apply the blush and bronzer, while I can dab a bit of highlighter from the compact where it looks most flattering (like above where the apple of my cheeks starts). I usually use my fingers, but this is more of a drying powder, so brushing this contouring product over a good layer of skin care might be optimal.I find this easy to remove with my other makeup. Unfortunately, the compact was damaged as I pulled off the paper seal. I still have the transparent plastic film protecting the product, and the rubber band keeps the deal closed until subsequent use.This item will make a great gift. The colors/shades will work with many complexions, depending on how you subtly apply them. This color blush is somewhat of a warm hue; while pink is my color, it seems more like what a younger girl will wear.This item is a great value and is small enough to slip into a makeup bag for transit. I love the idea of this versus three separate compacts, all taking up much space, and those might be more difficult to locate in your bag.Enjoy!

This comes in an outer product box. It’s made in USA.The Balm has cute packaging that’s easily recognizable. The palette is a nice size. It’s thin and compact so it’s easily stored. The pans are nice sizes where you easily fit a large brush in them. However, opening the palette is SUPER annoying. It has a little cardboard tab that slips into it to keep it closed. So every time it needs pulled out to open it and put back in to keep it closed. I thought about just removing the dumb thing, but it doesn’t have magnetic closure. It’s cardboard so I feel like if you’re using this palette every day and opening and closing it everyday with the dumb cardboard piece, it’s going to wear down pretty quickly and end up ripping and breaking off at some point so if you want to keep it attached, you might need to be kind of careful when pulling it out and pushing it in to keep it from wearing down and ripping. It’s a really bad way to have a palette close and open. After using it daily 5x, I was done with doing it and tore it off. Without the magnetic closure, it can come open. But, it stays closed where I store it just fine and I just wouldn’t travel with it because of that. It says the packaging is recyclable, which I’m guessing is why there’s no magnetic closure. BUT there are pans that the blush, highlighter, and bronzer are in, so those would need removed before recycling. So, I just feel like they could have added in a magnetic closure too. But, I get why they didn’t. Most people don’t want to cut that out to recycle the packaging, but removing pans isn’t as complicated.You get a blush, highlighter, and bronzer.The blush is in the shade “Madam,” and it’s a beautiful matte peach toned blush with good pigment. It is soft, smooth, blends easily onto the skin, and wears well throughout the day.The highlighter is in the shade “Wow,” and it’s a beautiful light champagne gold so it works well on my fair skin. It’s nice and smooth. It has a nice glow to it. It isn’t glittery at all. It just gives a glow to the skin without glitter/shimmer, which is what I prefer. It doesn’t accentuate texture at all. It lasts nicely throughout the day.The bronzer is in the shade “Noon.” It’s a warm toned, light bronzer. I have fair skin and it works well for me. I don’t know how well it would work for someone with medium or darker toned skin. It does have good pigment to it and is buildable, so it might be workable for darker skin tones. It gives a nice warmth to my skin without looking orange. It is nice and smooth, blends easily, and lasts well throughout the day.Overall, I really like this palette. The shades all work well for me on my fair skin. They look nice and smooth. They last well throughout the day. You get 3 pans for $26.50, which breaks down to about $8.83 per pan. That’s not too bad at all! They all have a nice formula. I hate how it opens, but I found a way around it. I give it 4 stars! If it didn’t have the annoying cardboard tab to open it, it would be an easy 5 stars!

Firstly, I'm usually cautious about purchasing pressed powder type makeups online, as rarely do they ever make it in one piece, which can result in a awful mess. I feel that, if you're selling a product that's bound to travel a long way, it should be durable and survive the trip. Thankfully, this product arrived completely intact and the pressed powder feels firmly secure in place.The colors are decent and work for my medium beige toned skin: the highlighter isn't very light, and not really light enough to be a good highlighter on its own, and I'd need something lighter to go another with the. While the bronzer is darker than my skintone, i feel like it could be darker. Basically, both the highlighter and bronzer are a bit too close in shades and should be just a bit light and a bit darker, respectively, but they feel like good quality and apply and spread easily. The blush shows up well on my skin and it is a shade that I think looks perfect on me.

Works great with any look.The highlighter is just the right color, not too light, not too dark, and not too bold or subtle.The blush is a beautiful light pink that doesn't come on too strong, and sets well for all day use.The contour, I use as an eye shadow, and it is also beautiful, it lasts all day and it blends perfectly with any other colors.

I really like this little makeup set. The colors are all very nice and apply easily. The blush looks very natural on. The bronzer is a little dark for my pale skin but looks really good on as an eye shadow. The highlighter is very pretty and catches the light well. I always use a primer and a setting spray. With both the makeup stayed on all day. nothing creased or settled in wrinkles. I would recommend this pallet, you could use it every day.

I like the Balm products as it doesn't contain talk which I try to avoid. I was trying to find swatches but they all looked different. I took it for a good discount but lit bit disappointed cause it not for fair skin. Also Amazon spoil the package by have sticks on the product which is not removing so you can't get I'd as a gift, f.e. and of course it's not returnable, sadly. It will suit better for tanned skin.
