Nanofoamer V2 USB-C Rechargeable

I couldn’t actually believe I paid more than £50 for what is essentially a scientifically more advanced milk whisk. However I have realised, since it arrived, how it is worth every penny of its premium cost.I have owned many many different milk frothing products in the 15+ years I’ve owned a Nespresso coffee machine and enjoyed making premium quality lattes - from simple electric whisks to auto-frothing heating jugs and aerocinnos, and none of them have foamed milk to the same quality as this excellent little device.I bit the bullet and bought the rechargeable model as it is more powerful than the battery powered version and has 2 speeds, which the battery one doesn’t. It comes with 2 filters - fine and superfine. Both produce fantastically foamy milk, even from skimmed milk, that makes velvety smooth lattes that are way better than any store bought latte I’ve ever had. I prefer the smaller microbubbles produced by the superfine screen, the taste is so smooth and velvety it’s almost beyond belief.As a Yorkshireman, I’m primarily a tea drinker, but since I got my nanofoamer I’ve hardly touched tea at all - which is high praise for this device indeed. Shares in Yorkshire Tea will plunge as a result!!! I drink hot chocolate at night to limit my caffeine intake, and this too has been majorly improved by nanofoamed milk. The yum factor is off the scale!!!It’s easy to use, easy to clean and the battery lasts a good long while. I haven’t regretted buying this premium device once since I first used it, as the quality beverage it helps create is beyond anything I’ve previously had. It’s pricey but, by heck, it’s worth every penny!If I could afford it, I’d buy one of these for each of my family and friends so they too could experience the joyous beverage it produces. As I can’t, they’ll just have to settle for enjoying it when they visit… and they’ll doubtless visit more often once they taste my marvellous nanofoamed coffees! Definite two thumbs up for the nanofoamer, a 5 star device if ever there was one.

I’ve been very pleased with the results that this little device allow me to obtain. Nice creamer foam heads on my espresso coffee each morning and with consistency and ease compared with foaming hot milk with a traditional steamer. I do have one issue which I think the company need have a look at. The small circular nano foamer heads seem to develop cracks in the plastic over a period of months which lead to the head losing its secure connection to the foamer drive stem. This is something I would not expect to occur in a product of this quality and cost and certainly not within six months. Manufacturer: A replacement nano foamer head (small disc with the micro mesh) would be much appreciated.Otherwise a really valuable and effective product overall. Would have been five stars if the foamer head was more robust and durable.Update:I had an immediate response to my concern above. Subminimal offered to supply me with a replacement foamer head gratis. This is fabulous after sales customer care. Thank you very much Subminimal. Five stars.

This is too expensive for what it is. Unlike how the product looks in the photos, it feels constructed out of cheap plastic, and what’s more it doesn’t naturally stand up in its case. I paid the expensive price because it seemed like the only product on the market that could fulfil the purpose of latte art on the go, but this is no longer the case (Outin have now released a similar product which is made of metal). While it does produce microfoam as advertised, I noticed very quickly that the impeller seemed to deteriorate, so I was always careful to wash only with lukewarm water and soap. Eventually it broke altogether while spinning (see photo). I had a look online, and this seems to be a common problem with the unit (they should supply a spare impeller in the box if this issue is so common, but they don’t). Since my nanofoamer is out of warranty, I will have to buy a replacement for £7, which would have been fine, were it not for the extortionate £10 shipping which means it is essentially £17 for a tiny piece of plastic. I contacted support, and they recommended purchasing multiple spare parts to ‘make better use of the shipping cost’ - clearly this is just another product with planned obsolescence after normal use.

This does a good enough job at both thickening and texturing my milk however you need a more rounded billowing vessel for your milk to use it effectively - tried texturing in a one person cafetière which is thin and cylindrical and it takes ages to get the milk where I need it to beThis is the best alternative to an expensive machine steam wand I’ve tried so far but I think £45 is unnecessarily expensive

Excellent thinking of getting another great for foaming a latte as your not adding water all the time, it does take a bit of practice to master but once you've mastered it its as if a baresta made it

I've had very mixed reviews about this product. I started out with the battery powered and then the V2. With many trials to get that to work, including some sketchy foil action to make sure the batteries were contacting the plates... I decided to get the lithium nanofoamer - this all happened within a few years...This is now my second Lithium nanofoamer, the previous one broke after a couple years, something seemed to have disconnected but only when in the wrong orientation.After opening the new Lithium (which I didn't realise had changed) after trying to fix my old one, I realised the lithium model I had before (for some reason) wasn't made to replace the battery and provide access to the electronics so sadly its a wasted product... meaning I have to purchase a new one so money wasted in parallel.At this point I am down almost £100 in total across all versions, due to a poorly designed product but sadly this is still probably cheaper than having a machine for just the steam wand (as a manual machine drinker).That said, using this newer lithium model is way more responsive than the rest, I'm not sure about power as the other one could've been on its last legs after only like 2 years, but it seems way too strong that it requires the lower power setting to properly foam the milk for a flat white which is good from a battery perspective maybe to last it one charge.I'm impressed with the iterations but its taken way too long to get there. I'm very saddened for that reason as a loyal customer that these shortcomings fall outside the warranty and hope maybe something comes of this review.Thanks

This is really amazing, I bought the V2 and it’s not good at all. Anyone is considering, they should go with the Lithium.Even the texture of the milk is so good and creamy, almost cafe quality. Very happy with the purchase.

use the NanoFoamer daily for both coffee lattes and matcha lattes, and the results honestly surprised me. Unlike a steam wand, it doesn't dilute the milk with water vapor, so you get this soft, velvety microfoam with a perfectly uniform texture that holds up for a really long time. In my experience it actually beats the steam wands on budget espresso machines, and it's in a completely different league from traditional wire-whisk frothers, which produce big bubbles that collapse within a minute or two.Battery life is excellent - I charge it rarely and it just keeps going.Two minor gripes: switching between the two speeds isn't very intuitive, and it's not always clear which mode you're in. I also wish the mesh screen attachments were dishwasher safe - hand washing them is a small but daily annoyance.Still, easily 5 stars.
