Your radiator isn't made of flexible material, so it doesn't need to be fixed by an expensive material whose main selling point is that it stays flexible when it cures! What are you thinking??? Use epoxy putty! Look for stuff that says it's intended for marine repairs and you'll be golden.

Do these have an expiration date? If so, how long do they last?

If unopn and frozen, I would say years (judging from chemistry). I keep mine frozen at -80, and I even keep reusing the same pack after opening, and it's been OK for 6 months of repeated use.

Yes, unless the tear is where the shoe bends all the time, sugru will fix it, maybe not permanently but should last a while. Action the mend & leave overnight & all the next day before using the shoes.
