Good little setup
This is a great little enclosure for small insects or spiders. I've been keeping a small millipede in mine and the critter seems happy. The included accessories are nice, and the water dripper works properly. The faux grass substrate is actually pretty easy to keep clean, which surprised me.

Great for slings, not for grown spiders, don’t bother with the food and water holes.
This has been perfect for housing 26 slings until they need to be separated. They all live at the top. I don’t bother with the food or water plugs, they’re useless, but I can open the bottom easily and quickly for feeding and misting. I also add a piece of tape to keep it closed just in case. No slings or fruit flies have escaped. I do keep water in the watering thing just to maintain some extra humidity for molting, but they don’t drink out of there. I would not use this to house a grown jumping spider, much too small.

Cute and breakout proof
Great enclosure for small jumping spidersReplaced the rug with soil for better humidity :)No places for spider to escape through and the feeding hole is convenientInterested to see if spider uses the water

Came woth broken bowl
This terrarium is very tiny but adorable. However, the bowl was already broken and outside the bubble wrap when we opened the box. I was quite disappointed.

The closer you look, the worse it gets
This is a good deal and will get the job done but not before fixing it. There are sharp edges in the drill holes for the feeding hole and water tube and also loose shards that could harm your pet. The water tube hole was a tad too big so I can actually pull out the tube from the top without removing the gasket from underneath. The artificial grass is coming apart at the edges so that all needs to be pulled out. The branch I received was too large for the enclosure so I have to cut it with garden shears. The vent holes are very messy, with sharp plastic shards attached and the vent itself is not fully attached with glue leaving a large gap where fruit flies can escape. There are visible scratches on the surface of the enclosure which is quite off putting. I gave this two stars because it is somewhat functional and because it’s better than a different brand I bought that came completely scratched up.

Brittle, not great for housing things
This is a small container I intended to house a small jumping spider. When delivered, the vent holes were loose and the metal vents fell out with almost no touching, which I had to glue back in. I then saw a review about the fake grass length which food bugs would hide in, so I intended to trim it down but the grass was glued incorrectly to the ground fabric causing a large ripple. I opted to just remove it and use small bits of dirt. The spider moved in and went to the top, as many jumping spiders make their little homes in top corners of their enclosure. Unfortunately the latching mechanism and large hinge startle the spider when it’s popped open and mess up any vertical decor as the lid hinges back.I ended up removing the water dropper thing (which I thought would have a hole in the bottom to collect a small water droplet but was wrong) and put it in another jar until a better enclosure could be delivered. I ended up buying a larger cylindrical enclosure that’s clearly better build quality.I will say the container provides a clear view of whatever’s inside and, with proper securing of everything it would work fine if you never intended on opening and removing the spider/insect, as it provides a feeding port that provides a way to feed the spider with no contact. It’s just not quite what I wanted as I want to get my spider out on occasion and by opening the lid, the wood and any decor would move around and disturb the rest of the enclosure.Anyone who gets this would be better off using any clear resealable jar with air holes, which they probably have lying around the house.

Worked great for our jumping spider
Our spider seems happy and content in this box. It was smaller than I expected, but I guess I didn’t know what 4 inches was. It’s sleek looking, as it’s all acrylic. It is a bit difficult to open the feed hole, but this is manageable/fixable.
