I took a hot bottle of tea to bed with me last night, and it's still hot this morning.

I bought this to have some hot beverage outside during the snowy winter. It might not hold the warmth as long as advertized but I was still impressed. I usually "pre-heat" it with hot water and then I put the beverage as hot as possible. I put my tea right after boiling. Like this, even in a very cold day and spending part of it outside, I can still get tepid tea 6 hours later. I also like the look of stainless steel, though might not be the most practical (not as good as plastic holding heat and you can't heat it in the microwave). Overall, is a good purchase for the price.

I like to take take hot tea for me and my buddies when I play golf on a chilly day. For my many years I would take tea in a flask that I had bought in England when I was posted there on assignment. Tea would stay piping hot in that flask for the entire round of golf and beyond. At times I would polish off any remaining tea when I got back home many hours later - it would still be acceptably hot. But unfortunately, me and my faithful flask got separated on a fateful day. After completing one of my rounds of golf I forgot to pull the flask out of the golf cart. I didn't realize until a few days later that it was missing and by then it was too late.So I was in the market for a replacement flask. I researched several items and selected this one. It's design resemblemed my lost flask so I ordered it. For my next round of golf I took tea in this new flask. It was a chilly day, so my friends and I thought we'd get started on the tea in the front nine. As I pulled the flask out of my golf back I noticed it felt warm to the touch. This was strange as my old flask always felt cold on the outside. When I poured the tea it was luke warm. I was very disappointed - it couldn't have more than a couple of hourse since i had made tea.Suffice to say, I have not used this flask again. I am again in the market for a flask that works as advertised. I still miss my old flask.

It has a reasonably wide mouth for cleaning and kept beverages hot for 5 hours. I do not expect much more than 5 from a stainless thermos and this one did well. I would prefer a solid cap for sanitary reasons and ease of cleaning. Update-- After two years the cap failed internally and the unit is no longer serviceable. No replacement cap appear to be available so I have to reduce my previous rating. My solid cap thermos is nearly 12 years old and still going strong.

I've has this over a year, and I'm finally getting around to reviewing it. It leaked since the day I got it, even with both caps on, and it doesn't sit flat because of the way the bottom is attached, so it wobbles and there's a sharp metal part on the bottom that I've taped over. I kept it because I thought I'd pretty much be dealing with drinking my mate alone in my office, and I really didn't want to spend the time to find a new one. I thought I might be the cause of the leak too, but I haven't been able to fix it. So I have to always pack and carry it upright, and be careful, and not expect a super clean pour...but it does keep things hot for a long time. And it is sturdy overall, seems like the others work well. It started to rust around the top a while ago, I don't know how many months, but it's not bad. Probably due to the leaking, in part. If you buy, just be prepared to return it.

The container is attractiveStainless steel,sleekDesign is a plus.Also holds 3 cups of liquid,easily.But..The top leaks.Does not keep my coffee hot at all!!!10 minutes after I closes the Thermos I still had to microwave my coffee to get it hot.It was Luke warm at best.I brought it for the durability and functionality..FELL SHORT!
