Lovely
For some reason I bought the 2 pack of these and they were awful, but the single stick is absolutely lovely!! I don't understand why. A lovely shave with this product, only buy the single pack though

Easy to Use
The Speick Men Shaving Soap Stick is a superb addition to any man's grooming kit, especially for those who travel frequently. Its compact size makes it incredibly handy for the shaving bag, ensuring you can maintain your grooming routine on the go without taking up much space. This soap stick is remarkably easy to use. It lathers up, providing a smooth and comfortable shave. The formulation is gentle on the skin, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin. However, the one drawback, and the reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5, is the lack of a protective cover. This oversight means the soap stick can be prone to damage or contamination when stored in a travel bag. A simple cover would greatly enhance its practicality and ensure it stays clean and intact. Despite this minor inconvenience, the Speick Men Shaving Soap Stick remains a top choice for its ease of use, skin-friendly formula, and travel-friendly design. A must-have for the well-groomed traveller.

Good soap
Smells nice and lather's well. It is an insert, so no cover is provided.

Great for home use and when travelling.
I like these shaving soap sticks, less messy than foams and gels so no waste, and beside the smooth shave and pleasant smell the best thing is they are ideal for packing when travelling through airports security as they are solid soap not liquid or gels so no need to have it in your ‘liquid’ bag.

Too much perfume
Bought this to trial for on stage custard pies. Worked great but the perfume in them wasn’t good when we did several shows in one day

Not as good as the last Speick buy, nor the old Palmolive shave sticks
Speick Shaving Men's Stick The good: - quick to use - quite economical - compact - like every shave stick or solid soap shave product I've used, I found it to not cause skin irritation problems, unlike every can of shaving foam I've ever used. Eventually the chemical stabilisers etc used in gas foaming products cause inflammation. The bad: - the foam is very short lived - a few seconds at most. I'm pretty sure the last Speick shave stick I had was much better. All the Palmolive shave sticks I've used were much better, with long lasting foam - skin lubrication was no better than cheap solid hand soap - so not much better than plain water. Again, Palmolive sticks had good skin lubrication to aid shaving. Sad they're no longer available.

I like shave sticks for their convenience. Rub onto a wet rough beard (or rough scalp for a head shave,) brush vigorously for a minute, and you have doubled exfoliation and lathering for a great start to a shave. I imagine the coarser the hair stubble, the more soap you would use, and the more you would need, so maybe its self adjusting? These are hard soaps. To bowl lather, it helps to make very fine shavings with a zester and let it bloom for a few minutes with a tiny bit of water in the shave bowl. You can get all the lather you want doing it that way. I would guess one of these would last a daily shaver dozens upon dozens of shaves. Im not certain, but Id guess face lathering it could last 40-60 days of shaving. I use a lot because I scalp shave with it, and Im getting 2 months out of my shave sticks. This is all presuming the use of a shave brush, I admit that lathering Speick with wet a hand only will make much less lather, but it is still doable. (There are so many affordable shave brushes out there, I recommend getting one) These stick soaps rinse out of the razors (old fashioned DE blade razors as well as modern cartridges) very well. Give these soaps enough water! They work better, they rinse out better, they wash off the skin better once youre finished better. The scent. Im not good at describing the scent. Moderate strength initially, and dissipates after a few minutes following clean up. Very flowery overall scent right up front, without being sweet. Very clean smell. Not cloying. Faintly earthy.
