McCulloch GM577616402 Oil for 2-stroke engines 1.0L, Standard

Mcchulloch is owned by husqvarna and i was looking for a good quality oil without having to pay for the name the husqvarna xp oil sells at £29-£35 depending where you go have been using stihl hp ultra which is roughly the same price and this oil so far seems way better no smoke unlike the stihl oil and virtually scentless which is unfortunate as i love the smell of two stroke but saving money and having the same quality of husqvarna I can’t complain

It's good to have an opportunity to review the McCulloch strimmer. In the past, I've been asked to review things I know about, so you should probably be aware that this is the first time I've bought a strimmer. I read previous reviews before making a move and ended up feeling that many commentators had unhappy experiences because the flex broke, or because they had problems starting it. I think that the flex broke because they may have been too ambitious about what they strimmed (stones? ooh); and I, too, had a problem starting the thing, but I fear that was because I tried fuelling it with oil rather than the more conventional petrol. It comes with a number of safety suggestions, such as wearing goggles, ear muffs and gloves. A bore though that may sound in the recent hot weather, you really should. I regret skimping on the gloves because after about half an hour my hands felt like tuning forks. So, once you're kitted up, you'll be wielding a light, manageable, versatile piece of kit - the instruction manual even nurses you through a handful of ways you can tackle both grass and weeds. Just not stones. You can't strim a stone.

Great oil, little to no smoke and always measured perfectly with the handy squeeze bottle measuring feature. Will be my go to 2 stroke from now on.
