Good price and good quality
Having discovered my collection of albums I haven't played for twenty years. Realising that the turntable I once had no longer works. I decided to buy this record player purely to play records. Although I can connect it to speakers I decided to try it out using it's own built in speakers. They are fine and better than I imagined. The record player is easy to use. Plus the lightness and the small size really means that it fits on any small table. I guess the arm and the leaver could be easier to see. Especially when the light is poor and the whole thing is black. But it looks really good and sound is good. Now to make excuses why I bought that album back in the day.

Easy to store
I like being able to store it as its just so compact. Sound is very good. Has been nice and nostalgic listening to old records again. It has a lovely case and looks well made and sturdy. Comes with all cables and manual. Even came with a card in full colour about how to put the belt on if it came off during shipping which was easy to understand, however I didn't have any problems and it played straight out of the box.

Great for copying vinyl to mp3
It's very compact and does the job it's supposed to, & comes complete with a disc to load up "Audacity" editing program to your computer. The sound quality during and after copying to mp3 is weak without bass, so don't expect Hi Fidelity. This is probably due to a low end standard stylus & not going through a pre-amp with EQ adjustments. But having said all of that, the unit is very cheaply priced and does the job it should, in a straight forward easy way - so my feeling is, some music is better than no music. If you require listening to your rare precious vinyl the way it was mastered, then I suggest buying a better quality deck and put it through a decent amp.

Compact and neat
A nice little record player if you are looking for something that's not going to take up any space and portable too. The sound on this is adequate and a great first record player. Easy to operate so I would recommend.

Great product but records too loud (easy to fix)
I bought this because I’m a music producer who loves flipping samples found on charity shop records. This is perfect for what I need it to do.The sound quality from the built in speakers isn’t the best, but at £45 it’s absolutely fantastic. The build quality also seems perfectly acceptable. The main issue I had with this was the actual recording of the samples - using Logic Pro, it recorded far too hot and the vinyls were clipping regardless of what I did. There is an easy fix to this though!Using a MacBook Pro, in “system” and “sound”, you can manually change the input volume, which prevents all clipping and allows you to record at the exact level you need! For anyone who bought this so that they could simply convert their vinyls to a digital format, this will also work for you!If you find that the recordings you’ve made are clipping (too loud and making a nasty distorted sound), change your input volume before you record your vinyls.Overall this is a fantastic product for the price, though it is worth mentioning that by default, it does record too loud.Hope this helped someone!

Turntable Retro Record Player with Built-in Stereo Speakers, USB, RCA Output
The record player (turntable) itself is very good, tested it on all three speeds and sounds very good plus is easy to use, this I would give a 5 star. The exporting software, however, is what dropped my review down to 3 stars, I downloaded my record OK but playing it back it sounds like the artist singing only but I don't know whether this is because the recorded format needs converting from LAME to MP3 or WAV format. Went to change the format and you need a LAME convertor or decoder which I could not find as part of the supplied software so hunted around on the internet to find it as advised by the supplied software. Yet to run the converter which may well make the recording sound like the actual record disc but at this point was getting annoyed and wrote this review instead! I've also yet to log the guarantee but there is an email address if I have problems.

Great value for money
This is my first vinyl player I have owned and can not fault it. Plug and play, easy to use. There is nothing I can fault here, the integrated speakers are of a good quality with options to hook up to independent speakers. The ability to convert records to mp3 files may not be useful to me but is nice that it is included. All in all the appearance of the player is nice, the red inside the case is a nice touch. The latch at the front is weak and doesn't feel like it will hold up to a lot of open and closes, however this shouldn't be a deal breaker unless you intend to carry it around alot.Overall I rate this very highly and im happy with this product, as an entry level vinyl player.
