Works well, but no ingredients listed anywhere
This works well, but a big drawback for me is that it does not state what it contains. It seems to be perfumed somehow, possibly just with essential oils, but I have no way to verify this. Also, wanted a product that contains only enzymes and/or bacteria and no additional surfactants or other cleaning agents, even if natural (as totally unnecessary - enzyme or bacteria work fine without any additional cleaning agents).I have 2 neutered male cats and now have a male stray cat (not neutered, of course) that keeps coming in via my cat flap and marks in my house sometimes.. Am more than happy with the way it works, definitely gets rid of urine smells very effectively when used correctly and would definitely recommend if your only concern is effectiveness - smells are gone after one application (but see edit below).Edit: Since my original review, have re-bought this multiple times, as it is convenient, keeps well over a long time, and concentrated refill is very good value. If you are using this on smooth, flat surfaces, one application will work fully. If you are using this on carpet or laminate/wood floors, you will need to find out if any urine has soaked down to underlay or underneath your floor surface or gone into cracks between boards. Those areas will not be treated sufficiently by just spraying on top, so as some reviewers have mentioned, you might well find the smell returns. With untreated wood, you will need to apply very generously, maybe more than once, so it soaks right into the wood. And be generous where there are joins or cracks.. Also, if the stain is older, and you maybe did not notice it straight away, you might need multiple applications.Never use anything anti-bacterial before using this, including anything containing alcohol. Any other cleaning agents should be fully dry or washed off first.

Alright; Four And Three Quarter Stars ....?
I can't, in all conscience, give it the full Five. Because, I believe it says it'll stop the little buggers from doing it again, where ye've sprayed? Well, if that were the case? I'd have just bought a gallon of the stuff. Sprayed the entire place with it. And have had house trained puppies over night, wouldn't I?No. What it Does do though is absolutely knock out any discernable whiff of pee left behind. On concrete, this is. After ye mop up the pee with plain water. Then hit the spot with this stuff.I was, frankly, a bit sad that it Didn't leave my place smelling like a Polo Mint. (Do those things still exist? Unbelievable what they'll do to ye teeth! But, I digress) There *Is* a hint of mint there. Yeah ~ Dunno. I'm old. My hearing's shot. Eyeballs need all the help they can get. Maybe my sense of smell's gone out the window too? Perfectly possible :|But, yeah; I'd been chasing them around with a mop drenched in Detol laced water. Good god! Come to think of it? No. My smelling's fine. Cos the bang off That stuff!!! *Do Not* use disinfectant behind ye puppies. Use *This* stuff. It's brilliant at not stinking the place out. (Can't say puppy pee seemed to smell particularly. Maybe because I was always here to be on top of them with the mop?)I was all set to grab a Refill too. But, I held out. *Boosh!* Just in the nick of time, puppies got the idea. Must have been a few days now, I've found no little 'accidents'. Buggers had even been nipping Back in here ~ Both doors wide open. They'd actively think; 'Must have a pee! I'll just dash into his kitchen. That'll get him going!'This stuff? Or my gum gritted, determined patience? Dunno. But, this gear certainly helped, A Lot! Just don't expect complete miracles of it.Photo of " Ronnie " added. Because Amazon loves a photo. And, who doesn't love puppies? (I was about to get one of " Lips ", his sister, too. But, she saw me and came running)

Only temporarily deodorises.
I looked at buying this product after my 11 month old Tom cat had sprayed in the same spot twice in my hallway. I did not detect it when he’d done it the first time so it had unfortunately dried in and left me hunting for the right spot to clean. He then went again in the same spot and it stank! I researched online what may help with getting rid of the stench and came across reviews for this product. A lot of them were positive and seemed to outweigh the negative so I ordered in the hopes it’d help. It was delivered the next day and was well packed. I liked that the bottle was quite a large one as it certainly wasn’t cheap! I was using it on thick wood effect laminate flooring and before trying this product as mentioned I had searched online trying to get rid of the smell. I tried white vinegar, bicarbonate soda, both of those together, plain warm water, domestic pet friendly disinfectant and even bleach but nothing worked. This product was easy to use in the way it’s just a spray bottle similar to household cleaning supply bottle and it initially did have a strong but pleasant, slightly minty scent to it. Whilst this product was easy to use (spray and leave to soak in, repeat on older marks) I eventually used the whole bottle over who knows how many applications of the same spot over a weeks time making sure to follow instructions to the tee. Whilst it was wet on the floor it did kill the spraying odour. However, when the product dried it was just back to same old stink. I then read that putting dry food down over where they’ve sprayed stops them doing it and tried that. It worked, so no new spraying in that area and several more applications still it smelt. I then read about another grocery store own brand cat and dog odour destroyer for a quarter of the price of this one so took a chance and so glad I did because with just 1 application of that one the odour is so much less offensive and isn’t actually detectable unless you’re hovering over the spot bent to knee level taking a good old whiff. My advice, don’t buy this. Too expensive and doesn’t work permanently on hard floors.
