Mousie Mousie

This game is good for all ages from four, to ninety-four. It's very simple to play and the tension usually results in fits of laughter. Six plastic mice with long tails - players take one each, and nine coins, while one player is the 'catcher' with a round cup. The players hold the mice by their tails so that their bodies sit on a small, round plastic mat. The catcher hovers above with the cup, and throws the dice which has colours instead of numbers. If red or blue shows on the dice the catcher is allowed to bring the cup down and try to catch the mice. If any mice are caught, a penalty of one coin is paid to the catcher. This is fun enough, but there is an added twist - if a different colour shows on the dice, and a player pulls their mice away wrongly, they must pay one coin to the catcher. If the catcher brings the cup down at the wrong time, he must pay a coin to each player. This sets up such a level of tension that every game I've ever played has been hilarious. And there is no easy way to predict who will win. I played it as a child; loved it then and still love it now.

I used to play this as a child and loved it - and I recently introduced it to my 5 year old daughter and it was a great hit. The concept is simple but entertaining, her 25 year old godmother, my husband and I had just as much fun - which is not always the case with games for young children.It is also very compact so easy to take on holiday with you (we take the bits in a bag rather than the box which makes it even more compact. At at Amazon's price of less than £4 I would definately recomend it :)

Really pleased with this game.It was a replacement for a game I had many years ago which now had become brittle.Good value for money and my granddaughter has already had many hours of fun playing with it.

This is a fantastic little game to share with children and adults of any age. This game is in my "games cupboard" for the various children of all ages who come to visit or stay and it is a great hit indeed. Indeed it should be called "Slam" which I think at one stage SLAM! because everyone gets so excited who plays this - ideal stocking filler be prepared to hear lots of imitating of mouse noises screams and startle jumps! Great Fun!

We really enjoyed playing this game as a family when we took it camping in the summer. I have very fond memories of playing it as a child and was not disappointed. There is not much to it and the box is a little fragile but I would say it is really good value for money and a great family activity.

Simple fun game for children & Adults.

We have just renewed this game for the next generation - the tails came off 2 of the mice from the game that is 30+ years old!Good game for all the family, where quick reactions are needed, and watch your fingers!

This game is so simple but really good fun, we play it all the time with 9 and 6 year old and have a great laugh - lovely little pressie which will be used often if you love it as much as we do!!
