Worked great with the better crimping tool. I was making cable for my battery to ham radio so I could boonedock. I like these connections so much I am thinking about using them for my solar panel.

Used these to connect my electric bikes controller to my 52v battery. 100% the best connectors for that application. These are easy to install, lock into each other very nicely, and can connect side by side as well for simple pos and neg connections. Highly recommend

This set of APP connectors was helpful during an install of a semi-permanent solar system. The APP is nice when the application requires the connector to pull away easily. For those of you who want a tight and secure fit, this might not be your solution. I actually like this connector as it can disconnect if someone snags a wire at the power station.The APP connector should 'snap' into place as you install the wire/flat pin into the plastic outer housing. Use a crimper designed for this purpose to get a good grip on the bare wire first. Then, noting the orientation, slide the pin into the back of the housing until the clip shaped pin snaps into place. If you don't push it in far enough, its just going to slip off and fall apart. Properly installed though, this connector works quite well.

Worked great for my RC car batteries. Would be 5 starts but they are super tough to get the crimped/soldered wire end into the plastic connector and that was a bit frustrating but once they are in there they are not going anywhere.

They look good, and they go together ok, but they really don't like mating with genuine power poles. I will find a use for them, but will purchase a different kind next time.

They appear to be legit and work really well. They also slide together like they're supposed to do. I only needed two but it was the better deal.

These connectors function as advertised. Remember, if the metal insert does not insert easily into the plastic housing then you need to squish it laterally a bit with pliers to make it a bit more round. The crimping pliers sometimes flatten the inserts a bit too much.
