Great sculpt. Meh paint job
I really want to love this figure, but it’s just “okay” and I’m a little disappointed. I returned the first one I got due to bad paint applications around the lips. The color of the lips and teeth were outside the sculpt lines. The replacement I got was slightly better, but still not great and still had a similar issue. Quality control seems to be not good, which is really rare for DC Direct statues. I hope this isn’t a new tread post-Mcfarlane being in charge. If you decide to purchase, make sure you check the paint applications before the return policy expires. I decided to keep my replacement since I love this Joker design from the cartoons, but it’s definitely the least impressive DCD statue I own due to how it’s painted.
