How many prints can it do before it runs out

This question is difficult to answer as this is a thermal printer. The printer uses a heated print head of to produce dots on a thermally sensetive paper. The printers ability to print will be determined by the lifetime of the thermal head. So to answer the question... Phisically able to print: If we take the minimal manufacturers guarantee then at least a year but most likely for many years. Paper able to be loaded: This printer can print on a 5cm wide roll of paper of ~3.5m in length per loaded roll. Software limitation: There will be a limit on the length of the image the printer an print set by the required software however I have yet to test a full 3.5m long print. Summary: This is a great little printer that will likely provide you with years of service, as long as suitable thermal paper can be sourced. Based on the same technology as many POS receipt printers you can expect high use, good quality, repeatable printing of images less than 3.5m in length and 50mm wide for many years.
