Shiny
Its small and cute, looks squeaky clean and came well packed with a 10 year warranty! Very time saving especially for Indian cooking. Comparitively I am not happy with the value for money, felt it could be a little cheaper but quality looks good. Overall, a good stove top pressure cooker for 3-4 people.

Nice pressure cook
Very practical , easy to operate & clean. I never used pressure cooker before so I find it very useful to use on daily basis. I ordered 3 litre capacity which is big enough for 4 people.

Does the job
Although not the very vest you can get this pressure cooker is quite adequate for everyday cooking. I use it for vegetables, soups done in no time, also made delicious very tender lamb dish. I like the fact that it's one pot, and not masses of steam. Two small dislikes although I can cope. 1. The Steam when released comes straight up (, watch your face) 2. The arrows that you have to line up are not very visible (,I've put white tippex on them now)But overall very pleased.

Superb.
Really love this pressure cooker. I've used pressure cookers for years. Before I bought this I was using an excellent older stainless steel 6L Tefal model and as I live alone it was too big really and was a hassle to clean. My shortlist for a small pressure cooker was the Russell Hobbs 2.7 L and the vonshef 3 L and this one. I ruled out the Russell Hobbs because it didn't go up to full power, this Tower goes up 14.5 psi, and has two pressure settings. The Vonshef looked very good but I thought it was too flat, you have to have a bit of space above your food. The closer it is the more risk of fouling steam valve. I used to have a wide that pressure cooker many years ago and is very nice as well, excellent for meat where there is a lot of browning and flying. Incidentally terms of the metal base that is in contact with the hob the Vonshef has a 7 inch base this Tower one has 6 1/4 inch diameter metal base.I'm a pressure cooker connoisseur and I really think pressure cooker is absolutely fantastic. Maybe the interior could have been polished up slightly more, but that's about it. The steam basket is excellent as well. Before first use though it needs a thorough clean around the edge where the lid clamps because there was a little bit of black grease from manufacturing. I don't really understand why this hasn't got more reviews, maybe it's a new product. The interior diameter is 20 cm so you can use standard saucepan lids. The whole thing weighs 1.83 kg and the pan is roughly 10 cm tall measuring from inside. This is the first pressure cooker with a spring steam valve and I'm sure it all works fine although I feel a little sad but I wonder if this is really a progression over using a weighted pressure valve. My old Tower pressure cooker has a retained weighted valve, which I have not taken off for years it just works no fuss, this new sprung design is a rather rickety spring and plastic affair. But it's one that almost all the new pressure cookers use. The advantage being it can switch between dual pressure very well. My old pressure cooker tried but can't do low-pressure properly. And lower pressure is very important for vegetables or more delicate foods. It's got a great thick metal base for no hotspots. As far as I'm concerned this is highly recommended.

Really quick to cook
I have pain in my arms which makes it difficult to cook for long time. Since I bought this pressure cooker it made my life easy. I was amazed to see how quickly it softens the meat or lentils. And it's small and compact. Easy to clean and dry. Definitely worth a buy in any Asian household.

Pointless and a waste of energy
The first pan I received leaked steam and fluid from the handle - I waited a ridiculously long time for customer services to respond, so long, that I began to worry that I wouldn't be in time to return it to Amazon. A fortnight later, after a second email, a lackadaisical Tower customer services assistant gave that advice. Duly returned, the replacement pan wasn't much better. The pan doesn't get up to pressure for twenty to twenty-five minutes - fifteen to twenty if boiling water is put into a preheated pan, using the highest gas setting on my hob. The pressure valve rattles but it doesn't engage, however if jiggled carefully (risking being scalded by the steam) at this point, it pops up and the steam squeals out of the plastic pressure setting valve.Bearing in mind that the pan has been on maximum heat for twenty-five minutes before it is turned down to a lower gas setting for the "cooking time" this is pointless and a waste of energy. I wouldn't run a stew pot for twenty-five minutes at maximum before starting the cooking time. The replacement pan leaks steam and fluid from the handle although not quite as bad as the first pan, regardless of how much fluid is in the pan. Obviously with this design/manufacturing flaw I cannot cook with the water level above 50% let alone the 75% maximum suggested by Tower. So, more expensive to use than an ordinary stainless steel cooking pan, potentially dangerous, shoddy manufacturing, and poor customer support. The ten year warranty is pointless if customer services aren't interested - buy from a reputable company as Tower sells inferior products (two dodgy pans in a row) and offers little support. On a final note, this is a pressure cooker where for safety reasons alone the quality control should be considerably higher than that required for a standard cooking pan, obviously this is lacking in Tower's manufacturing department.
