The Boy [Blu-ray]

Good actors, good premise. Meh!

A bit of a slow starter but great film I really enjoyed it . I’m looking forward to watching number 2

I liked this film and it had a great twist to it

It's a film that has twist and even if they are somewhat predictable it was a enjoyable film. Worth a watch.

Lauren Cohan (Maggie in The Walking Dead) takes a job as a nanny in England to look after a boy while the parents go on holiday. Turns out the boy in question is an eerie doll and the question of if the doll is possessed by the spirit of the boy is called into question whilst creepy stuff befalls her.This movie genuinely worked for me with a couple of scenes that got under my skin and gave me chills and some interesting ideas. Although nothing is particularly great about the film there is nothing bad either. The characters are likeable and act believably and it’s decently shot and acted. This is rare for this kind of horror film. There are no weak links in it. One of it’s strengths is that it creates a sense of voyeurism throughout the film and generates real tension by taking it’s time. I liked it a lot and it has a few surprises up its sleeve.Worth Watching Once (which is a good rating for this kind of horror)

Loved it all

This movie was a recommendation but it was awful, dire not real life and a waste of time….Btw. The Boy 2 is worse!
