Bandai Badge It! 30 Badge Sets Refill Pack

Bought this for my grandaughter for xmas she loved it . We have started a new kid's club on our allotment and it's only cost 8.99 to make a club badge for them. A friend designed a picture with the name of club on and butterfly and my grandaughter made them . No postage so keeping cost down is a big saving in our small budget. Yes it's only the small badge but when we got Badge It that's all it did for us so no problem's with size. quality very good .Amazon was best price . New product came sealed and delivery quick.

if your child likes making badges with their Badge it but has run out of the kit that came with the machine, Check if this refill packs price is good today, if so, buy this. Because your child thinks it's great to be able to make more badges! But be ready to buy another box because even 30 new badges won't last long (hence 4 & not 5 stars)!

Bought the Badge It plus refill pack as a birthday gift for my 5 year old grandson. Very fiddly and quite stiff to operate. By the time we'd worked out how to make one he had got bored and moved on to the next present! An hour later the part with the safety pin had fallen off. Although it pushed back in I'm not sure how long it will last. Also the safety pin is very small and quite difficult to actually put on a garment. Badges usually have the pin built into the back and are much bigger and easier to open and close. I don't think he will bother much with it.

Images don't matter! Get the kids drawing / colouring in / cutting out pics from a magazine & using the stencil shape! Hours more fun of creating than just using the preset images and gives me a break from making sure the layers are all right & endlessly turning the handle up & down! Thanks to these refill packs (& some magnetic tape) our fridge is nearly 100% covered with favourite cartoon characters / foods / colours, abc's, 123's, doodles, mini collages, stamps from christmas, wrapping paper from birthdays, photos of pets / friends / family / historical figures and just about everything else you can think off! Only issue is that we always seem to be running out!

If your kids have a badge-it maker you need this kit, unfortunately its only the small size badges from the original kit that you can buy (The badge-it maker comes with 3 attachments small round, large round and rounded rectangle) I don't know why they make a product that you can only re-use certain parts...oh well. Its 30 metal fronts and backs with acetates and pin backs. There are also a pack of pre-designed sheets to cut out and make the badge pictures from, but its much nicer to draw and design your own, it comes with a template so you know how big paper needs to be and where the design goes, not exactly value for money but you do get a professional finish. This is a re-fill kit so you need to buy or own the super badge-it maker first!

Bought to use with an older model of Bandai badge maker, although they still look identical there may have been improvements. Having never used it before it was a bit trial and error for the first 5 or so badges, so there was a bit of wastage. All in all we got about 20 usable badges. It's the badge maker that fails more often than not, rather than the refills. Sometimes they get stuck inside the machine, other times the piecing together is just not tight enough despite the brute force used and the plastic is uneven and open round the edges. My 10 year old made 8 badges then got bored, I probably enjoyed it more than him, but looking back it was a lot of effort. The (real) pin snaps on the back after making the front of the badge, this is possibly a safety feature to stop kids getting snagged on things. Happy with the badges we made!

It does say styles may vary but hadn't considered a halloween set would be sent out in Feb! Not good for girls birthday party.

Kids loved it, a repeatitive gadget the kids didn't really have to think about it, they could have quite easily ploughed through the whole pack of 30 very quickly. So could work out quite pricey. Shame the badges only came in one round size and that Bandai no longer do rectangular ones. This toy will only be coming out the cupboard rarely.
