A Wizard of Earthsea (A Puffin Book)

VERY engaging book, beautifully descriptive writing style both visually and emotionally. Le Guin creates an awesome world with a really good feeling magic system, as well as a very nice plethora of people, making the world feel so big and diverse even in such a small book. Recommend.The quality of the print is good as well, good text size and font face (even if on the larger side), cover was nice and came undamaged. Although I can't find any other sellers of the later books in the series of this publication, so if you're looking for a set, try a different one.

A beautifully written book. Magic, excitement, friendship, fear and self-discovery; there are many themes. All in the context of Earthsea, a believable world that it is easy to identify with.My only regret is that I wasn’t given this to read as a child.

Probably the best of the Earthsea novels which I have read. The characters and plotline are totally convincing, and Le Guin's writing is outstandingly poetic in many places.

An amazing book, one that I will read to my children when they are a little bit older.

Several years ago the was a wizarding world 3 hour tv film simply called EARHSEAI assumed its a book of the film, its not Its about the tales of GED the wizzard of the same film,

A great book that I’m still knee-deep in reading and don’t want to put down.

We read a chapter a night to each other of this 5-book series.. it’s a wonderful treat in the evenings!

Cover: OK. Not very good but not bad either; serves its purpose.Paper: Good. Slight yellow tinge doesn't strain your eyes while reading in the dark for example.Font: Very good. Legible font of more than enough size. Definitely won't strain your eyes even if your eyesight isn't good.Binding: OK. Good for a paperback I guess but it needs to be handled with relative care.Packaging/Delivery: On time. Packaging was alright. Product undamaged and brand new.Would 100% recommend. If you are interested in fantasy even a least bit, buy this.

I used to listen to the audiobook of this when I was young, it was an amazing story back then, and I recently bought the paperback for me and my partner to read as a bed time story, it's still one of my favourite stories to this day
