800RLSRT15ES Surface Transformer

This product was purchased to repair a track light that arrived with THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. The stem or shaft arrived bent sideways in both cases due to poor packaging or handling. First time we gently tried to straighten it so we could actually install the item; it broke at the base requiring mickey-mouse repair over the past years which worked until it began shorting out. We are selling the house and need to have things working, so ordered the replacement transformer which arrived beat up. Photos will be taken in 5 days and lights need to be functioning!! Again we are forced to try repairing it enough to work, so will disassemble it and I will perform dentwork on the flange. After having spent >$350 and hours of work fixing this light I suggest any prospective buyers DO NOT purchase this item.

Price is high but it works.

Exact part needed to fix rail lighting / free shipping / prompt delivery / quick fix. Couldn't ask for for more and it saved having to replace kitchen light system with another one - which would been much more costly than the price of that part............

I can buy an entire rail kit with 5 lights with the transfomer for $148 from Lowes. Adding in shipping cost and buying just the transfomer is more expensive.This is my second time replacing the transformer so I doubt this one would last any longer than the last two.For nay-sayers, I've checked my AC hertz and I have a clean signal and proper voltage at the junction box.

This transformer was a perfect replacement part for the burned out transformer on one or my two Tiella lighting systems. The only complaint was that it cost only about ten dollars less than buying an entire tractk lighting system. That seemed excessive.

Alright but spendy.If you are replacing a burnt out transformer, don't buy this. Just buy an MDL 316-0002 transformer for ~$30 and use the old housing.

Love this transformer. It looks nice, easy to install and good wattage ability.
