I received a lot of “Marilyn Monroe” comments on the cruise (forget the fact that I have black hair ……. lol). I have larger upper arms, and wanted to draw attention away from that. I think I achieved that while still looking elegant. I felt like a princess!

Wanted gloves for a formal gala and was torn between matching my velvet dress with velvet gloves or these sheer gloves. I decided on the navy gloves and they perfectly matched my sapphire blue dress and stayed up all night! The rouching on the gloves provided a great look and the gloves stayed up on my arms all night, I didn’t need to keep adjusting them or pulling them up. I got alot of compliments on the gloves, and I ended up ordering them in black as well to have on hand for other occasions. It was also REALLY cold this night and they helped keep me somewhat warm once I went outside with my coat on.

These were great! I had to pull them up a lot, but I’m pretty skinny. I’m sure on bigger arms they wouldn’t be a problem.

Great material. But, the color chart is off. #1. Is what they call their “plumb” as you can tell it’s more burgundy. #2. Is what they call their “burgundy” but it’s an off red color, almost.

They are perfect and love the quality.

This is a soft, one-way stretch, tulle material. If you have plus size upper arms, this will not stretch enough to go all the way up your arm due to its tube structured shape and lack of four-way stretch. The color in person is lighter than the picture shows. More of a magenta than a deep purple. I will say, if you wear nails with this, it will stretch long enough on your fingers to fit the nails and should not rip. I love how breathable the tulle Is while wearing. However, the raw edged opening makes your arms itch while wearing the gloves.

These gloves are absolutely STUNNING and fantastic quality. However, the color is about 3 shades lighter than shown. Much more pink. But, I still have a use for them.

Although sheer, these gloves are sturdy – not likely to rip and tear. The ruching is very flattering, and they are long so that you can adjust them to be very high up on the upper arm or lower down by the elbow and they still look great. The material is feels stretchy enough to accommodate a large variety of arm sizes without being painful or making a mark.
