Sort & Go Waste Bin 16L

I have been looking for a bin which would fit into a quiet narrow space with a lift-up lid to use for recycling. The 16 L one is absolutely perfect, currently it just sits on a small one (which I don't use daily), but I'm planning to fix it up on the side of kitchen cabinet soon. Very happy with the colour, the material is sturdy and easy to clean. Although I wish they did it in a slightly bigger size, it does fit in a fair amount and usually needs taking down a few times a week. I really like the design and the top holds the bin bag nicely in place. It came with some Brabantia sample bin bags, which were great, but expensive, so decided to go with basic supermarket ones which are just as fine. Most of our recycling is dry anyway, so leakage or ripping isn't really an issue.

We got this as it took us too long to fill a large bin and we just ended up having flies everywhere. So we decided to change for a smaller bin (16 litres). We looked at many high tech sort of bins, with sensory opening etc, but they were too expensive so we went for this Brabantia one and, honestly, I’m much happier with this little bin. It’s sturdy, looks nice, feels good quality, easy to change the bag, hangs nicely from a little cabinet door that opens, making it easy and accessible rather than just on the floor. Also good to just remove it, carry it closer to the sink whilst washing and then placing back in the cabinet. Only issue is that we couldn’t get the screws from the hanging piece to fit properly, so the piece swings a bit, but once we perch the bin on it it stays well put so not a huge issue.

I use this to put the contents of my cats’ litter boxes in so that they don’t stink out the house. I live in an area where the council will only accept your household waste in black bags and not in a dustbin. (I know — how un environmentally friendly is that!) so the bags are kept in flip top bins that do nothing to keep any strong smells contained. This bin is the perfect size to keep two weeks worth of used litter and cat poo for two cats and due to the great design of the lid, there is no gap caused by the bin liner and the closed lid so no smell escapes. The bin is very sturdy and although expensive (compared to other plastic bins), it is well worth the money.

Very well made, great design - simple lines. Easy to clean. Has the option to attach to the wall. Bought for putting the recycling rubbish in. Handle makes it easy to carry to the outside bin. Bought the larger 16l which is a perfect size for placing straight onto the floor. The smaller size would have been too low to bend down to, and would better suit screwing onto the inside of a cupboard or on a wall. Came with free bin bags too!

This has proven a great bin for my household. I would have given a five star only if it had a pedal, other than that no complaints whatsoever. This can hold wastes of a three members family easily for 5 days. Easy to remove the top to clean. At first, I thought this is a bit expensive but it’s worth the money. Happy with the purchase. Hoping to buy the square one next!

Nearly cancelled this order to buy a cheaper alternative, but it’s a nice compact size, great colour and feels reasonably substantial. Glad I kept it.

Well made with handle and the lid attached to a frame which fits over the rim of the bin trapping the bin bag if used. If not used the bin is easily cleanable. Mine is 16 litre which is smallish but perfect for me and there are bigger sizes with more capacity if wanted. Colours could be better than black, white, grey and "council depot green". I have the mint colour and is matt so it does not look wishy washy. In all an excellent product and worthy the prices.

Best bin system EVER. This was cheaper than howard's storage so i saved like close to $90 in buying 3 of them. Great colour, easy to take out, premium looking.

16 liter, mint green sort n go waste bin by Brabintina Very nice container! Also cost much more than it is worth. I bought this to hold my regular trash. I don’t have a lot, so hope it will hold enough for a week, or close to it. If it does, I will order another for my recyclables. I like that the whole top comes off. And it holds the bag in place. It is much more attractive to look at in a kitchen than most other trash containers. The lid seals tightly, when closed. Wish you made a larger one. 6 gallons, would be perfect. I am happy with this purchase and do recommend it.

I have this outside for my dog trash bin. Love the size. It can hold up to 2 weeks of trash from my 2 frenchies. Have not noticed a smell other than if the lid is up and it’s warm out. But I don’t have the lid open long. I have it in a covered area next to the house in the shade. Easy to change the main garbage bag too.

Well-built and sturdy - does what it's been designed to do. I love the pop of colour contrasting with the neutral palette I have in my kitchen. It's great that the lid can stay up. Works best with Brabantia's bin bags (included 3 free samples) but other brands that'd hold 16L works, too. Easy to wipe clean. There are cheaper alternatives but this one definitely has a much better finish. And I couldn't get this colour in cheaper alternatives so all up, worth it for me.
