Q: Are they good for Acrylic?

Yes! I use them on a weekly basis.

Q: Can I use these with Oil paints and oil cleaner?

Yes they are excellent brushed for oil

Q: long handle or short handle?

I found the length of the brush handles to be just right! I wouldn't consider them to be extra long or extra short. Great little brush kit!

Q: Are they truly oil brushes?

Can be used for either oil or acyrlic...but naturally one has to wash and not let actylics dry.
