IT Pro SAYS.... SMB/Medical/Dental a MUST HAVE.
I own a IT company and deal with a lot of medical and dental providers. Most our calls come from carppy scanners that randomly stop working. These are SOLID, if you want work flow to not be hindered buy these or a similar model. If your going to skimp out and buy a cheap scanner you'll pay that 10 fold based on lost labor when employee needs to call IT or wait to reboot the scanner and computers... Spend the money and get a solid product for the next 6-7 years.

European Grey Market Unit - Unable to Register in the US or Canada
Finally got this Scanner setup. Setup and use was not terribly intuitive, but I finally figured it out and it's functioning. Problem is, when I went to register it, the Ricoh/Fujitsu website told me it was not a US or Canada Serial Number, and would not process the registration. I contacted Amazon Support, they had me contact the seller. The seller never responded. Contacted Amazon again, and they said the only option was to return the unit for a refund. I feel mislead at the very least. Maybe not ripped off as I did get a nice scanner, but know when you buy this unit, there's a reason it's $200 cheaper than you'll find elsewhere on Amazon. I wish Amazon would police these grey market sellers more closely. Oh, and it also did not include a carrier sheet, that the US version is said to come with. I guess my first clue should have been that it came with a European style cord, and the box showed a shipping label with an Italy address. All-in-all, some shady dealings. Now I just need to decide do I keep it - it is a very nice scanner - or return it? Arrggh!!! I hate being put in this position.

Für eine Arztpraxis einfach zu empfehlen bei der täglich zu scannende Unterlagen einfach spitze . Die Installation erfordert Wachsamkeit…, scann Wenli und Möglichkeit fast unausschöpfbar . Mein 4 Gerät in laufe der Jahre . Perfekt
