Tamiya 78013 Bismarck With Stand 1:350 Ship Model Kit

Tamiya models are was really good quality, the Bismarck 1/350 scale beautiful ship , I built this model along with many others many years ago and it costs the same back then as it did on amazon today , open the box it's top quality nothing has changed Tamiya still the best in my eyes, delivery on time well a day early that was a lovely surprise just waiting on p/etching set for her as I didn't do that on the first ship years ago, 10/10 very happy with item and price from amazon,

This is the second ship model I've bought by Tamaya, easy to understand instructions, also made easier the hull coming in one piece, overall another exceptional model

A very attractive box which is the first sign of quality. The single moulded hull was a godsend. All the parts were intact and clearly identified. The instructions were in the form of diagrams (just like most of the assemble yourself furniture instructions) - minimal words but where used the English was perfect. Once or twice during the build I was left wondering, do I assemble this as a single unit or multiple units and then add together but otherwise no problems in following those instructions. Some paint instructions were inadequate but only in respect of small parts. The one criticism I have is that some of the parts are very very tiny and difficult to handle. Some of those parts had to be joined to other tiny parts and having to try to do this with glue on your fingers was not easy. Wish Tamiya had considered this before designing the mould. Be careful when detaching them that you do not experience what I did - flipping upwards and disappearing into the carpet requiring a search with magnifying glass and torch!

Usually i build and collect models of tanks and thought about time for a change,Bismark caught my eye and was not disappointed when i received my model from Tamiya ,looks a good example of this fine ship and cant wait to start building and at £44.99 was really well priced compared to high street shops and other retailers ,would highly recommend this model to the more advanced modeller and to put a good finish to the job make sure you get yourselves the right paints from Tamiya to complete the job .

I never actually received this model from Cazado (the seller of my order) and after much correspondence and promise of re-shipping and refund, nothing arrived. I eventually bought this kit in a Hobby-craft store. The only let-down EVER on Amazon. But this kit is awesome and the quality of Tamiya shines again. It is also possible to convert this to r/c for those who want to build one. The hull is molded in one piece making the job of building quite easy, although its probably not advisable for the young/inexperienced model maker.Seriously though - avoid Cazado.

Its Tamiya and as usual a perfect model with all pieces slotting in correctly with no filing to be done. I have had a few Tamiya models and will continue purchasing this brand as they are excellent.

What a kit cant wait to start the build (got it all primed)
