Fitted to replace a similar item. 10 minutes job done and that included replacing the fitting brackets as the old ones had cracked.

Nothing to dislike at all

I ordered this under-cupboard strip light to replace the one I had before which, after a few years, had ceased to function. As I had a couple of spare fluorescent tubes, I wanted one the same design as before, and this replacement seemed cheap enough. However, I was disappointed when I received the lamp as the fittings were almost the same but not quite. That meant I had to reinstall the clips on the cupboard in order to put the lamp in place. But the most surprising thing was that this strip lamp arrived without a plug. Now, in the old days one usually kept spare plugs in the cupboard, but for the last few years most appliances come with the plug attached, so it took quite a bit of rooting around to find one. Luckily I don't throw things away often so I eventually did find one, but for most people this would have been a problem. I have looked again at the description for this product and nowhere does it mention that you need to supply your own plug!

This is a cheap but ok fitting suitable for easy installation under kitchen cupboards, or in a small cupboard, say, under the stairs.The main problem with it is that the on/off switch is tiny, does not seem robust and will be the first thing to fail.I bought this to replace a similar fitting under the stairs - the switch broke on that after daily use for about 3 years.I think I'll just add a more substantial switch into the cable circuit and leave the switch on the unit in the 'on' position.

I bought these to replace under lights under the kitchen cupboards so they needed to be easilt swapped and they were. Seemed to be good quality and easily fixed in placement. I did use the accompanying connecter lead and so therefore had to buy a small connecting hub however that was not a problem and it worked out better for neatness than before. Lights immediately without a lot of blinking in starting. Recommended.

The light came with two sorts of clips two for a horizontal surface and two for a vertical one. A long mains lead and a plug to allow you to chain the things together. It took about 15mins to fit and works.I'm pleased with it and it looks well made.A
