Great Ethernet crimper kit. My old pair crapped out on me so I ordered these and they have worked out to be a great pair. Very high quality kit that you can cut, strip and crimp Ethernet cable or telephone wire. I don’t do much telephone wire as a low voltage tech but we do a lot of Ethernet, alarm, thermostat, cameras wiring I do for clients so these have turned out great!! They are made with solid steel and a nonslip grip, so when you press to cut strip or crimp the torque performs effortlessly with such ease. I love that it comes with some replacement blades so I have them when I need to change them out. Also the networking tester is a great tool to have for testing for any wrong connections, short or open circuits. It’s a great quality tool to have if your a low voltage tech or even if you have some know how and do some of your own work at home. Happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend

I purchased this for occasional residential use. I had the cable tester replaced because that 9v battery snap broke but it was immediately replaced. If you're an occasional user you can't beat the value of all the components included. If I were still doing network installs like back in the day, I'd get a higher end set of tools, but this works fine for residential CAT6 use and as for the new pass-thru style RJ45 connectors, well I'm never going back to the old style !

Kit was engineered quite good. Although the male plugs after crimped. Will not fit some commercial devices like Xfinities Gateway and other types of female plugs. The supplies of plugs included don't seem to be all the same. They very in size... Some fit, some donot.Direction are specific and offer a step-by-step procedure. But to the inexperienced user can mixup the order the wires must be in to establish a correct connection.The crimping tool is easy to use and includes all the tools to make a new RJ45 connector new again.

It has all that is needed for use it right away and get the job done.

Our house has been pre-wired with network cables, but there is no connection. During our installation of the Internet, the installer showed me that you only need to find the wire in the connection to the Internet router, and then connect other cables. what's the G stand for?Ihave a bunch of ethernet cables the G won't light up.What's up with that?

I read the directions and tried it on my ethernet cables and it worked just as the directions said it should. I was very satisfied with this operation. It is easy to use and does what it’s meant to do

Easy to use. I like the Fast/Slow testing option. RJ45 - G will light up if you have shielded cable.I wish it came with a 9V battery so it did require me to head to the store to pick one.Good product.
