bright enough to light up my 2 car garage, good!After a week of use, I decide to buy a second one for my second garage, 35w this time, pleased with product so far. How long does it last. Is yet to see, so 4 stars so far.

Ordered this for a back yard flood light. I didn't pay attention, and this light was like a 1/2 - 1" too long for the housing I had. Instead of returning it, I decided to stick the bulb into a recessed light fixture in the ceiling outside my front door. It's way too bright.. like way brighter than sun light. I need something a bit dimmer, as anyone can see any packages left at my front door.On a side note, regarding LED bulbs. From talking to various people who have replaced bulbs with LEDs, it seems to be a re-occuring theme of people who went way too bright.

As other people have said these are junk. I had purchased 3 of them all of which failed in a little over a year. They were all in my basement and were used approximately 6 hours a week.

Great light coverage from such a compact design - it allows a single bulb to light an entire garage well enough for painting and crafts late at night, and throws the light out so diffusely that it doesn't create the garish effects one might expect from a single bulb. The screw base felt a bit tighter than normal - screwing it in required a bit of patience to avoid damaging the socket, but it's just as likely that it's a problem of the manufacturing tolerance in the socket.

The light bulbs are nice, the product info is incorrect. This is listed as a 30 watt. The math on the spec sheet adds up to 27 Watts. This is advertised as a 3000 lumen, the package clearly says 2700 Lumen.I installed the light bulbs thinking they were 3000 lumens, then the inspector asked me for the product spec sheet and when I showed him this, he pointed out they were 2700 lumen. This was for a condo/apartment path of travel lighting so the plan had a specific minimum lumen output for each light pole. I failed the inspection, had to pay an employee to fix the problem, call for another inspection and had to have a meeting with the building owner and explain why my company was unable to complete the job the first time around. This was a total loss to my company.Update as of 12/18/2017*I had 2 bulbs go out and am trying to warranty the product, but they are not available. I also noticed a new incorrect product description. The listing says 35,000 hours of life and the box says " working life could be 30,000" I will update this review with the results.UPDATE as of 2/03/2018- LED's have failed.

Junk.....all 15 have failed in less than 1 year. Located in my shop. Ambient temps fluxuate between 20 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Failed in 15 months. I expect LED light devices to last longer than 15 months. Incandescent bulbs last longer than this!
