Live At The Bowl '68

It is great to finally have this whole concert,complete with all the songs,on cd.This is a very atmospheric album,you feel like you are at the concert,whilst listening to it.Well i do anyway! Jim Morrison's vocals are on point throughout,from his crooning to his screaming!He performs his poetry pieces with real passion and verve,these pieces also blend in perfectly with all the songs and music. Manzarek,Krieger and Densmore's musicianship throughout is very good,as you would expect.The Doors were a truly seminal band,who in their short six year career left behind a legacy of great and timeless music. This is well packaged coming in a gatefold sleeve,with a good booklet and the cover is adorned with excellent photos. C'mon mr lightman turn the lights down!

We all know the songs and the brilliance of the Doors,so not worth mentioning the music.The sound quality of this more complete and polished version of the live show is truly outstanding,very clear and clean.Very well remastered indeed and worth buying,card box/cover could have been a little more luxurious,but for the price its really nitpicking.

back in 1987 this was released on cd but only had seven tracks and the dvd had a few missing too but the whole show is finally here in its entirity and the sound is great and has the best version of the end ever recorded i beleive. if i'm being picky it would have been up there with detroit and felt forum if jim had'nt been so sober as it was a little restrained. 4.5/5. add it to ur set.

This is possibly the best recorded live performance from the Doors , Jim Morrison at his best. I have both the dvd and cd of this concert. If you are a Doors fan then you must have this and if you are new to the Doors then you will not be disappointed.

One of the best. The doors have issued variable live shows but this is great. There have have been comments about the volume but it plays great on my system. Really on fire.

The Doors Live at the Hollywood Bowl '68was awesome, it was great to finally here the full show, I can't wait to get the Blu-ray of the full show!
