CBTrail Therapy Board Game for Kids

I use this game during counseling sessions as a school psychologist, but I think this would be a great game to play at home with kids. It's super easy to play, and the kids love it. I don't think the kids realize that they are learning.

This game is wonderful for younger players. I tried to play with my 14 year old and he was not engaged at all. However, in my practice setting this is a much more useful game even if we just use the cards and not necessarily the board game. I ran a group where we used the questions as ice breakers and it really helped the group facilitate a therapeutic and healing discussion. Again the board game is for the younger ones but the cards can definitely be used with teens and adults.

I love the concept of the game!! Definitely geared towards younger aged crowds! My kiddos love the bright colors and it’s very fun to role play characters and design story line along the completion of the game!

My daughtr loves this game and brought it in for her class to play as well. Everyone learned a lot of themselves and others and I feel it has helped my kiddo regulate her emotions

This is a fun, lovely game that teaches kids to think deeper into emotional situations and be more considerate of others emotions! If you’re looking for a fun family night tabletop for the little ones and get them off the phone for a while this is a great game to play fun for the whole family!

We loved the game. It is easy to play it and to learn about the game rules. Because the game is easy to understand it will fit young children too. Each player must read a card and answer a question. The board and the cards have nice colors and designs. The cards ask different questions which creates a nice dynamic between players. Great to explore and express feelings thoughts and other emotions.

I absolutely love this board game! Doesn't feel too heavy or "educational", it's super fun and awesome for sparking conversations with kiddos and adults. Great quality and all in all a great addition for any family game night.

This game is designed for children who already have strong higher-level thinking skills. I initially chose it because I appreciated its focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. However, it’s not well-suited for the children I work with, such as those with autism or language processing disorders. While I was able to simplify the questions in advance, this was time-consuming — something that’s difficult to manage in a busy school setting. If I had realized how complex the card prompts were, I likely wouldn’t have purchased it.
