LEGOSimpsons Series 2 Pick Your Figure 71009 (Homer (Sunday Best))

I have been trying not to buy myself too many Simpsons figures to go with my Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart/Simpsons house, as lets face it, you could go crazy.But I had to get Comic Book guy, to go in my Kwik=E-Mart, as I was a bit annoyed at having duplicate characters.Comic Book guy is really well done, and is instantly recognisable for who he is. The beard and the belly hanging over the shorts really defines who it is. The rest of the outfit is a bit basic, but you can still tell who it is.He also comes with a comic book - Everyman, issue #11 - and a drink, which unfortunately does not fit in his hands, so I will be integrating this into the Kwik-E-Mart set.I'm still curious about some of the other figures, so I may end up getting a few more in time, but they are quite expensive for the size that they are, and really only useful if you have other sets to integrate them into. ​

I was looking for cool recognisable figures to theme my YouTube videos when I came across this Lego Simpsons Figure 'Comic Book Guy'.This is my personal favourite character among all the 16 figures available as part of the 2nd series of Lego Simpsons. I am not collecting them, so I was happy to skip the 'blind bags' and pay about £4-£5 for the one that I really wanted.As you can see on my photo coverage, the Comic Book Guy is hysterical as a lego character. I love the attention to detail: the squishee drink and especially the Everyman comic book.It's a great purchase for any fans of the Simpsons and Lego collectors.-I hope you will find my review and my photo coverage helpful-TIP- please note that the drink won't fit into the character's hand

Having purchased Simpsons Lego for my son for Christmas, I wanted to buy him some extra characters. However, buying the 'blind bags' can be costly and you tend to end up with many duplicates. One of the characters my son wanted was Bart as Batman. This is excellent value for money and you can be sure that you get the figures you want. Bart comes complete with a base, slingshot and, of course, his Batman cape and mask.
