We felt more secure having both of these safety items as extra security in our hotel room. The door jam is piercing even at its lowest level. I liked the 2 offer sets. I gave the 2nd set away to someone else who will be traveling later this month. I'll store them in a pouch and put them with my other traveling equipment. Great deal.

These work very well, especially while I’m at home by myself. I have an alarm system, but I also have like three or four doors in my home. I use them haven’t had any problems. I even let my kids try to act like they’re gonna break in to see if grandkids they act like they’re trying to break in the house to see if they really work and they do. Lol

I am using this lock system on my front and back door but unfortunately the door jam is extremely tight, so I am not able to get the device out once I put it in, so I get stuck in my apartment. Maybe the weather change will cause me to be able to use it later Not sure. However, I am very happy with the doorstop that has the buzzer on it. That’s a great device. Thanks.👍

I got an extra alarm for suite rooms. Alarm is loud, I set one off at the hotel. I just keep them in my carry on. Goes through TSA with no problem.

It works great on locks that it's fits on but I'm finding that I'm coming across more hotels locks that it won't fit on.

I saw a few videos about strangest getting into hotel room. I bought this set but yet to use it. Our friends use it. It took some trying to figure out how to use the one for the lock but I figured it out. I hope for my sake it will work but more than that I hope I wouldn’t never know how it works …

We purchased two sets of these items and used them to secure our vacation spot when sleeping. The door locks were difficult to set and we eventually gave up on them, but door alarms worked great. They work great and gave us a much better sense of security when travelling away from our hotel.

VERY loud, better than similar alarms we purchased on Amazon. Also works well to stop you from opening the door. That was also unexpected as it seems smooth but we had to get into a home to do a wellness check and knew they were using the door stopper alarm. We had to break & bend the door stopper, still couldn't get in, and eventually had to slip something under the door and, knowing where and what it was, it was still difficult to push the stopper out of the way to get in. I think it's a great deterrent to someone trying to gain entry. First due to the noise, second because it would take time to get in, if you knew what you were doing and what was stopping you from gaining entry. This would take time and would attract attention. We had police with us before trying to get in the house because I didn't want them called on us. Then we had to show the officers what it was and how to get in because we didn't want them to break the door to gain entry. A good purchase for someone needing security on a budget. Don't forget batteries. As a suggestion, we found rechargeable 9V batteries that could be charged with a USB charger (my phone charger) here on Amazon as well but regular batteries probably last a long time, too, as the alarms are rarely triggered.
