Best priced quality leccy toothbrush around.
I was advised to invest in a leccy toothbrush by my dentist as I was scrubbing to hard with my regular toothbrush and had worn my gum away causing an unpleasant and regular shock across the top set of my teeth. I have been using for a month now and can say it is well worth the investment. I did also upgrade my toothpaste from standard Colgate to a whitening one by Arm & Hammer. I have noticed the shock feeling is getting weaker and less regular and my teeth have never felt so smooth. I was reluctant in buying but at the price for this rechargeable and the proven results it is a snip of an investment compared to dentist treatment. I should of gave in years ago. Great product, Great price, Great results! oh and don't forget to get the plug adaptor unless you have a shaver socket.

Great item, and (not! expensive!) head replacements freely avaialble
Great powerful clean. This replaced a VERY expensive Philips Sonicare, and I actually think this cleans better !! Equally more important are Replacement Heads- this Braun fit is very widely available, both genuine Braun and supermarket brand alternatives, either way they are NOT expensive - Philips Sonicare is a complete rip off at over £15 PER HEAD !!! and the Phillips ones do not last at all. Supplied with a new head, and sturdy charger base. The charger plugs into the 'shaver' mains connection point in a bathroom, and has self switch off after reaching full charge, so it can not overcharge, even if left permanently 'on'/connected. A wide range of 'specialist' heads are also available for additional tasks. As is any 3 pin mains socket adapter should you require. I would recommend this product: Be AWARE of the RIp Off prices for heads charged by other manufacturers.(Phillips!)

A good, relatively cheap, brush but battery fails after about a year
I got one of these toothbrushes for my wife (good swap) about a year ago. It works very well but, after about a year it failed to hold charge. I checked on YouTube to see if there's a way to replace the rechargeable battery.. ..there is, but it requires use of a soldering iron - too much hassle.I bought another one - the charging failed within a week, so I used Amazon's returns procedure to send it back. They shipped a replacement even before I had popped the return unit in the post. The replacement seems to charge properly, but I expect the battery to fail about a year from now.Given that this is definitely a product at the lower end of the price range, and it was recommended by the dentist as a model that does the job well, I think the product still merits a 4 star review. If Braun made it possible to easily replace the rechargeable battery it would merit 5 stars.

Great toothbrush, good value but #BoycottColgate
I bought this to replace my other one (10 years old) which whilst still working, a charge only lasts three days now and the on/off button plastic is starting to wear through.I got it for £18 around half price and with the brush head costing about £4.50 (at proper price) this was a bargain!I would never go back to hand brushing.CONSUMER WARNING:Colgate are selling 75ml toothpaste in 125ml sized boxes. You are paying 52% more for 40% less!Colgate claim it is because one is a "medical product" and the usual toothpaste is "cosmetic" product. But all toothpaste has fluoride in to prevent tooth decay a health matter so all toothpaste is therefore "medical"The great Colgate "Shrinkflation" Rip-off!#BoycottColgate

No Bells and Whistles
I do not need a little buzzer or an automatic cut-out to tell me when I have cleaned my teeth for the optimum time, or a selection of different strokes, or a variety of bells and whistles: I just need to clean my teeth. So, making the decision to save anything up to £50 just to forgo these added 'extras' is not hard. I have better things to spend my money on.This toothbrush is basic, but the battery is rechargeable, it cleans easily, and it does all it says on the tin. A good, economical buy.

Great value for money
This is an absolute bargain for such a low price. (I suspect they are trying to encourage people to switch from manual brushes so they can make more from selling the replacement heads). Don't be fooled by the marketing or gimmicks of the more expensive models - this makes your teeth feel noticeably clean. There are only 2 very minor points I miss from my old toothbrush which this replaced:1. The charger is just a base onto which the toothbrush sits. My old model had a storage compartment for spare heads, and you could also wrap up the electrical cord so it didn't trail across the bathroom counter.2. My old toothbrush had a flashing blue light which stopped flashing when fully charged. This cheaper model doesn't have any indicator to let you know how charged the battery is.These are minor points though, and I really recommend it.

Some modifications needed
This was bought 3 weeks ago and as an electric brush it is good in doing its job. Nothing much to write about that really. However, some simple modifications will make this much easier to use. The main problem this has is that there is no way to check if it is charged or not. Even if it is kept on the charging port always, there is no indicator on the brush or charger to see if it is working. (most rechargeable appliances have a green and red LED on the charger to indicate when it is charging and when it is fully charged.) So you may suddenly see that your brush is out of charge and has to rely on your good old tooth brush. Hope the company sort this out soon

Fantastic!
Simple electric toothbrush with built in battery and 2 minute timer. No other special features but it's all you need from an electric toothbrush. Very good value, good quality, and you can get different brush heads for it (Precision Clean, 3D White etc) so you can still get slightly varied use out of it.One thing - don't drop it! I dropped the one I had previously and a small circle of plastic broke of the back, towards the bottom. This made it lose all waterproofing, so it eventually broke. Still, I bought the same one again because at this price range it's near unbeatable.
