Fab product!
So many spiralisers to choose from and at a broad price range. This is super easy to use, blades incredibly sharp and is super compact so takes up minimal room in my kitchen cupboard! This has transformed cooking for me and I am a massive fan of courgetti now - once upon a time I would have thought why bother? But it's so easy to use / create and cook and tastes bloody fab! Highly recommend this product

Neat, simple and effective
Ok, so I am a complete convert - 1 courgette converted into two bowls of spaghetti, slathered in an impromptu sauce disppeared in companionable silence. I just wish I'd noticed that there is a three blade version for fetuccini and some salady things - that would be 5 star.

Works well, perfect for making courgette noodles.
I brought this in hopes that it would help me introduce more healthier meals to my diet by replacing spaghetti/linguine with courgettes. I had previously brought other spiralisers of different designs involving handles you turn and spikes you impale the various unsuspecting veg on and none worked well, they instead it created a lot of mess. This product does exactly what I wanted. Don't be put off thinking the item is too simple and won't do the job well. Part of it's charm is it's simplicity; it's simple to use, simple to wash and simple to store.

Works with courgettes
Its ok value for money. Handling a bit fiddly and time consuming, but for small amounts it works. The different knives are sharp enough. The finished product doesn’t looks at nice as on ads, but I assume a bit of practice will improve the outcome.Better than the previous hand held spiralizers that I tried.

Good small bit of kit for the kitchen!
I have looked at loads of reviews for spiralisers and I ended up buying this one. I didn't want to buy a big electric one as I don't have that much space in my kitchen and at best I only really planned on using it twice a week. Firstly, it is nice and compact and also sturdy. I only use it for courgettes as I despised buying ready spiralised courgetti in the supermarket with a such a huge price hike. I cut off the end of the courgette, place it on the blades and just twist. At first I was putting way to much pressure on it and it didn't run smoothly. Now I gently turn it, and the blades are sharp enough to go right through it. I do this over a big bowl and there are times when I spiralise the whole courgette and end up with meters of the stuff! It takes about a minute or two tops and there it is ready to go. It does have an end piece which yo're supposed to press on to the end and twist but I don't really bother with it, but it is probably advisable as you get towards the end so y don't cut your fingers. I always place the lid back on when I store it as it is sharp! Overall, a really good, quick option if you want courgetti. I haven't made anything else with it but I think it should be fine once you get the hang of it...just remember, the less pressure the better!

Good product- shame about the delivery
Really good product just spoilt by the fact that the delivery driver left on my doorstep in full view when I was at home waiting for it to be delivered. When I spoke to Amazon they advised that they would have to add delivery instructions so the driver knew they had to knock on the door when they delivered!!!!- unbelievable!

Simple and effective
I had a bit of a job trying to choose a spiralizer. So many of the models on Amazon are rebranded versions of the same item and most have a raft of reviews from semi-pro reviewers who get given things to review and seem to like all of them a lot. So I took a punt on a simple looking one recommended by Which magazine, and it's turned out to be a decent buy. It's essentially a plastic tube with a special blade at one end, onto which to place the end of your cut courgette, which you twist and spirals of the veg come out the bottom. There is a bit of waste as it "cores" the vegetable with the centre part of the blade and this looks like it's necessary to hold the veg in place and give it a point to rotate about but it's only 1cm across.I wanted it for "courgette noodles" and it works a treat for that. You can get noodles about 4 foot long out of it if you want.and they're round in profile like real spaghetti rather than a ribbon. The vegetable used needs to wide enough in diameter - 1.5 inches more ore.. Courgettes are fine but normal carrots might be too narrow so you'd need to pick wide ones.I think if you wanted to produces masses of spiralized veg it would get tiring but for a single meal it's absolutely fine. Not moving parts to go wrong. Easy to clean. I'm guessing the more complex mechanical ones have their advantages but this works AOK.

Not worth the money
Not easy to use as I have arthritis and you need to push down on the vegetables as you are turning the blade to get the shape . They also need cut into pieces before you start. You waste a good inch of the vegetable which doesn't go through the blade before the top locks.

An excellent entry-level spiralizer
I was inspired to get a spiralizer, and specifically this spiralizer, by Martha Rose Shulman's book "Spiralize this!". Inspired by that book, I got this spiralizer and also a Mueller Pro 4-blade crank spiralizer. With the Mueller, you turn a crank handle. With the Oxo you hold the veg in you hands and twist and push it into the spiralizer. The Oxo works like a Veg-ghetti (if you've ever tried one of those), but it does a better job, is easier to use, and is MUCH easier to clean.Compared to a crank spiralizer, the Oxo is a bit slow and tiring, but it works great for some vegs (especially softer vegs of odd shapes or sizes) where a crank spiralizer like the Mueller just won't work. So if you're into spiralizing things, it is good to have both types of spiralizer in your kitchen tool-kit.For an entry-level spiralizer (with the Mueller being the next step up), I give it high marks. It is inexpensive, compact, sturdy, and it is quick and easy to clean. And if you ever get a crank spiralizer, you will still want to keep it. It will still be the best tool for the job in some cases.

Works great
Works great for me. There is a little wastage but you still get alot of zoodles. Didn't realize I could got the exact same item on Temu for 6.97 but then u have to wait almost 2 weeks for delivery. I had this item in 2 days.
