Good but don't expect amazing temperature readings
Not the most accurate instrument out there for monitoring temperatures, it's always a few degrees out compared to my NEST thermostat which is sat right next to it, but it could be worse. Pairing was very simple and easy. Good range on it too.

So much for a waterproof case
Was great when it first arrived. Connected easily and worked great.I set it up under the roof of my garden shed, thinking it would be a bit sheltered, despite it having a waterproof case.A few months later I noticed it wasn't displaying the outside temperature anymore.Upon opening it, it was sodden inside. So much for a waterproof case...

Reliable
Perfect, has provided temperature readings so far for over 14 months without any issues. Currently using two, to monitor 2 separate rooms. (Found one room cools much quicker than the other)Was going to put one outside, but that data is easily available on the net.update======bought September 2016, as of April 2018 they are still working off original battery (:being used indoors.I am using wunderground website to find outdoor temperatures and conditions.update 2=======As of October and November 2020 both batteries have now failed. Probably not the worst thing to happen this year. (Also have nest thermostats to help monitor temperatures now.)

Good value
These are good, I bought another one for my second Solo II PV. The battery in my first one has lasted 18 months so far, and that's great.Taking the cover off to re-pair the unit is unnecessarily difficult as two stiff lugs have to be pushed in at the same time - use some fine nosed pliers for that. It's still good value though.

A worthwhile addition
Well worth the extra £10, this little gizmo has now enabled an inside/outside temperature reading on my Solo II display.Pairing the unit is simple, and literally takes seconds. The thermometer is weatherproof and seems accurate enough.

None
It has used 3 batteries since I have had it and at £2.00 a go it is not worth it

battery eaters
absolute rubbish they only last a few weeks then they start eating battery's even Duracell 50% more power. If you use it out side in cold weather they do not last more than two days
