Great for DIY or PRo
Used to fit new waste pipes in my bathroom having watched a lot of plumberparts videos.Have heard people say it can crush plastic pipe... What you want to do is gently clamp onto the pipe and then rotate it to score a line in the pipe, then slowly add a little more pressure and continue turning. You will be through the pipe before you know it and with nothing crushed and misshapen.Would recommend and buy again.

A fine purchase for her in doors or him in the shed.
Another fine product purchased for my wife to cut the plastic supports for her wedding cake empire. To see her with a hacksaw in her hand reminds one of a trip to A and E.With these beauties removing a finger would be far more difficult with their ratchet action.By George she's a happy woman.Nicely made but a little costly, but what price can one put on happiness.May buy the new model for our wedding anniversary, she's a lucky woman.

Not bad, but only way to get a clean cut is to use it the wrong way.
You do have to get your own method of using this tool.First few times I used it, it just bent the conduit out of shape, but after some practice you get the hang of it, which actually leave you with a nice clean cut.I'd recommend scoring the pipe just a little bit, and then continue to cut.

Great tool
Great tool, used it on 15, 22, 32 and 40mm plastic pipes and goes through them effortlessly. When dealing with 40mm waste pipes, it’s worth “biting” it first then rotating the pipe while gradually cutting it as normal. This technique gives a cleaner cut, otherwise the pipe may end up being squeezed, giving a distorted cut.

Not good
Plastic handles and the blade ratchet rarely works. Rubbish.

pipe cutter
Great for hep20 pipe and plastic 32mm pipe. Great for tight spaces under sinks etc.

Quality ratchet cutters have failed - ratchet gone.
These are excellent for producing a clean cut on conduit and fuel hoses (any rubber hoses). The brand is obviously quality as are the cutters. Ditch the hack saw or blades and get these! Highly recommend....*** UpdateInitially these were very good but longevity isn’t great, blade dulled and ratchet failed rendering them useless. Only ever used for rubber fuel hoses infrequently.

Works great, very easy to use
Brilliant tool, saved lots of time especially working close to a wall, makes quick clean controlled cuts, brilliant with Polypipe, polyplumb, Speedfit and Hep20 and have used to cut plastic conduit with no problems at all. This tool gives the DIYer the confidence to undertake your own plumbing jobs and therefore pays for it's self in no time.
