The media could not be loaded. Tbh this little pack is awesome! It already has some packets of desiccant within it. I mention that so you don't buy some like I did.They do come in plastic packets though and I am unsure if the balls should be emptied out of their plastic packets or left in 🤔. So after experimenting, it seems you can leave the silicon in the plastic packet they come in.The little 'hoover' is perfect for the job. All of it seem to be of good quality.Returning after a day, the bag had let air in. Filling it with water showed the smallest of 'nics' in the plastic which was the culprit. Little bit annoying because it means I'm going to have to check every bag.On the hole, I am pleased with the purchase. I guess it's a quality control issue from the manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded. Having recently got into 3D printing i discovered very quickly that the filament needs to be keep moisture free otherwise you will get printing issues. I therefore purchased a dual filament dryer, but with the current cost of electricity i decided i needed a way to keep the filament moisture free without constantly having to use the dryer for 4hrs before each print. Browsing Amazon i came across the Esun Vacuum seal kit. It had mixed reviews but i thought i would try it none the less.You have two choices when purchasing this kit, either a manual pump or a usb pump. I decided to opt for the lazy option!! The kit arrives with 10 vacuum bags, 2 x sealing clips, 5 spare seals, 10 silica gel pouches and the USB pump.Having placed several rolls of open filament into the bags with the silica gel pouches i sealed them with the clip. I then used the USB pump to 'shrink wrap' the rolls. This was very quick and super easy. I used a small USB battery bank to power the pump. Each roll sealed great! 24hrs later the rolls are still sealed perfectly.The bags seems pretty tough and i am hoping that they stand up to opening and closing several times, but only time will tell. The seals are clearly the weak point in this product but esun do provide you with a small amount of spares. I am hoping that you can purchase these separately to the bag kit.So far my experience of this product has been great - should that change i will update this review - but at the point of writing i am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to others.I hope that you found my review helpful

I know the humidity in the house is between 50 and 70% so filaments and moisture can be an issue. I use these bags to protect open reels from dust and moisture. The bags are ok, one side is reinforced and the other is thinner and clear. Of the 10 bags in the set, I have managed to wreck one of them, tiny hole on the thin side. I tried using one of the replacement vales to cover it, but it still seemed to leak. It is the only failure though, having used them for 10 weeks. The others have held the vacuum for the period so it can be a reliable system. I keep the bagged reels back in their original boxes just to give them that little bit of extra protection.The photo shows 3 of the ways I use them. Standard 1kg reel, small 200-250g reel of specialist filament and another to keep "free samples" in.

This is my second kit of this type. The first went back as the vacuum pump didn’t work and half the bags didn’t seal properly. This kit is different. An electric pump, replacement valves are included which may not be required as the bags all seal! There are also a large number of silica gel bags there. The kit isn’t cheap but neither are failed prints and filament.

What makes this 5 star is the very useful pump which generally evacuates the surplus air from the bag easily and probably within 10 to 30 seconds depending on how full a 1kg spool is. I don't now how long the bags will last but they seem quite tough, used them for a month or two now without issues.Update; 2 bags only lasted just over 2months, the remainder still ok, a dessicant crate is better for longer storage as sachets in the bags are rather unpredictable.

I have tried these before that came with the manual pump where only 3 out of the 10 held a vacuum. With this pack eSUN seem have to improved the quality, all those used so far hold a good vacuum, I was doubtful about the USB pump, but it works really well and much better than the manual variant.Hopefully these should last me a while.

I bought two boxes containing twenty bags, I have been able to use fifteen of those bags the other five will not hold a vacuum. I will not be buying them again. By the way the electric pump works great and saves a lot of manual work.

Works well, takes about 2 minutes to get the air out, doesn't look like it's doing anything for the first 30 seconds but then you can see the bag shrinking. Very happy with this product.
