Disney Infinity 2.0 Groot Figure

Now that Disney Infinity 3.0 is out, some of the 2.0 characters are thankfully dropping in price, so I picked up some of the ones that I've missed.Every Infinity character I've had so far has been very well detailed and I'm just really impressed by the detail and quality of the figures. Groot is no exception to this and looks perfect in my Guardians of the Galaxy set.In Disney Infinity 2.0 he can play as part of the Guardians game or on the Toy Box (the open world playset option) and in Infinity 3.0 he can be used in the Toybox Playset or in the new Toybox Takeover and racing sets that you can purchase separately. He can be used alongside Rocket Raccoon, which can stand on his shoulders in the game if you pair them up.

I bought this for a friend as a Christmas present. I'm gonna assume she likes it since I haven't heard any negative things back about it. Since I don't play Disney Infinity, I can't comment on what Groot's character is like in the game, but I can imagine any Guardians of the Galaxy fan would want Groot as a playable character since he's so awesome. Otherwise, it arrived in great time (before Christmas, as desired) and it was well packaged.

My friends son was very pleased with it . Only shame it never came with a card as never saw it didn’t have one .

Wow. Just wow. If you're THINKING of buying this, just DO IT! It's sooooo good! The character is really unique and even if you NEVER played with him on the game (though he does have his own unique fighting style) it's worth it just to have this beautiful figurine around!!

Another figure from amazon out the box at same prize as shops are selling them for, waste of money. Has put me of buying anything from amazon

The other half loves Guardians of the Galaxy and absolutely adores Groot. The figure bares a very good likeness to the character and is of very good quality, just like all of the Disney figures.You can use this by placing the character on the Disney Infinity character board. When you place a character on the board it will send that character into the game, and each character opens up a different part of the games levels. If you don't know what Disney Infinity is it is basically the Disney equivalent to Skylanders.

The figure is ok, good sold, well made, it's just that the game it belongs to is fairly rubbish, poor graphics, poor gameplay and looks very small on screen, even worse in two player mode.
