I like it and wear it under shirts and it keeps you cooler with the mesh. The armor is not the best but it gets the job done. I replaced the back and elbows armor for something better. However, a different back pad won’t fit as good as the original. I don’t think it will protect you enough if you fall and drag on the street. The mesh would disintegrate since it’s regular fabric, but it would help on impact. I bought it cuz I didn’t wanna carry a hot jacket during summer, so this is my riding gear for hot weather.

I bought this body protection for MTB and MX. Great value for the money. Very comfortable for both sports and easy to wear for some extra protection. Sizing seems to be correct. Mine fits well under a jersey.

The product seems to be of high quality.However, this will be the second time I am sending the product back so I can order a larger size.

It's light, breathable and form fitting. I wear a leather vest over it and a tshirt under so I can strip to the tshirt when I get to my destination.The elbow and shoulder armor in it is almost like a rubber material. A bit harder than the cheap foam most cheap jackets come with. I was really surpised by that. It feels substantial. The back is foam though it isn't plain either. It has fabric over it even if you remove it and it has extra thickness down the middle, as if to add extra protection to the spine; very thoughtful and extra step they took and I appreciate it.For me it'd be perfect if it had some anti-abrasive fabric over the armor areas Also some forearm straps that connect to the anti-abrasive fabric at the elbow/forearms ;) would be nice to keep the elbow armor in place if one ever goes down.Just riding, the shoulder and elbow armor stay in place perfect for me. As long as the stretch fabric lasts, this is a great setup for me during the 90°+ temps.Do be aware that if you have a gut, it'd highlight it unless you wear something over your torso.For reference to anyone reading this, I'm 6'1" and 190 pounds with 37-42" chest (depending on how deep I breathe lol) The medium fits me perfect. I chose based on 40" chest as that was my resting measurement. This has give so it will stretch and move with you.I'm noticing a lot less riding fatigue with this. I'm not fighting tight fabric to move at joints, and I'm experiencing a lot less wind resistance with this.I know it doesn't offer the protection of a jacket due to not having any anti-abrasives but it is a happy-medium between full jacket and just a plain shirt.

The extra padding is nice to have for safety, but it looks and feels awkward so I'd definitely wear it between two shirts, or at least under a jacket. Order a size up from what you'd normally get, I normally wear large and needed XL for a firm fit.

Great shirt for the Florida heat. Wear it over a wicking shirt. Quick and convenient.

Love the breathable stretch mesh for our hot TX summers. The arms are snug enough that it keeps the forearm/elbow and shoulder pads in place.My only complaint is the back protector and how it’s held in. The back protector is very cheap and not breathable foam, I wish they would have used the same material as the arms.I tried to use my d30 back protector from another jacket, but because the pocket opens at the bottom and just has a flap with no Velcro or closure, the flexible d30 works it’s way out, not a good thing in the event of a crash. A simple fix would be to either make the back protector drop in from the top and add a small Velcro closure, or upgrade the back protector to a more breathable and higher quality pad.Otherwise, it’s a great alternative that’s significantly cheaper than the others like it!
