Gloves In A Bottle Shielding Lotion 100ml Tube

It's an ok hand cream. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like a primer, like the one you put on your face before makeup. Has that same texture once it dries. It's moisturising but it's no miracle moisturiser. However, it does last through hand washes. I use it after I apply other hand creams and I find that it helps. I would purchase it again.

This is the best hand cream I have ever had! I only purchased it because I needed one quickly and they offered next day delivery. So glad I did because my hands haven't been this soft and smooth for years. They had become very dry and I had splits on the tips of my index fingers and thumbs, I am a bit of a clean freak and I'm terrible to not wear gloves when using cleaning products. I always put hand cream on afterwards but none were as good as this one. If I could give it 10 stars I would! It has made my hands look young again.

Soft hands, works well

in the last couple of years I've noticed that peat free composts are making my hands dry and fingers are cracking. I wear gloves as much as possible but you can't beat bare hands for potting up (except cacti lol). I saw this recommended in Kitchen Garden this month so thought I would give it a go at £10. So far I'm impressed. A small pea sized amount covers both hands quickly and it dries quickly without feeling greasy. It leaves your hands feeling smooth. When handling compost you get much less sticking to your fingers and when you wash your hands the dirt comes of very quickly and your hands are easier to clean to get rid of the ingrained dirt that I usually have at this time of year. Each application is supposed to last 4 hours so I apply first thing and again after lunch. My only concern is that I'm a contact lens wearer so avoid hand lotions later in the day when I need to remove and clean my lenses. This shouldn't be an issue as I don't tend to garden late into the night! Recommended.

Didnt even know this existed but so glad i found it, just put some on before i start my shift & just top it up every 4 ish hlurs & its great, keeps my hands hydrated & protects my skin, keeps them hydrated & protects your skin from all the rubbish that ends up on my hands as i work in a physical environment that causes my hands to go really dry. Love the stuff, also lasts a while, defo getting the scented one next time though. Got themselves a regualr customer. 👌🏻

I found “Gloves in a Bottle” a few years ago in our local pharmacy and gave it a try as my hands tend to get dry, but I didn’t want to use regular hand creams as I found they tend to be a bit greasy. This has been great but, when I went to buy my latest one, they were no longer stocked. I tried these big pharmacy chains in nearby towns without success. Amazon, as is often the case, came up trumps. This cream, applied just once or, at most twice, a day stops my hands getting too dry. I can understand that it won’t appeal to everyone as, once applied and rubbed in, you don’t feel any benefit (i.e. hands don’t feel any different) but it doesn’t the job intended without needing to feel any different - for me, anyway.

I wasn't looking for a KP treatment when I first bought Gloves In A Bottle. I was simply buying it to help protect my hands from further irritation due to a mild allergic reaction I'd been suffering from. When I absentmindedly rubbed some excess lotion from my hands onto my cheeks I was absolutely stunned moments later when I brushed my face & it was SMOOTH! I've had wicked KP on my face & arms for as long as I can remember. I've tried anything & everything that you can imagine. I even went to cosmetology school in part to try to learn how to fix or manage it but nothing has ever really worked for me. I haven't tried this lotion on my arms yet but the skin on my face feels incredible! It's like I'm touching someone else's face. It's kind of alarming. When I say that I was "stunned" when I felt my face, bump-free . . . I'm being quite literal. I was actually startled, as if I had accidentally brushed someone else's skin. It was truly a shocking moment. If you have KP & haven't found anything effective yet . . . I would strongly advise that you give this a shot. (TIP** If you're using any kind of SA scrub or wash . . . Dandruff shampoo is composed of precisely the same ingredients as any SA products & usually has a higher SA content than the average scrub/wash. Dandruff shampoo is often more effective & less abrasive than most SA treatments. Just thought I'd throw that out there.)
