The recommended application technique is the same as for most shampoos - you massage it into your wet hair and scalp, rinse and repeat. For best results it is recommended to finish with Mojo Luxury Salon Conditioner. I didn't use the Mojo Conditioner but after washing my hair with this shampoo my hair (which needs frequent washing and is prolific but fine textured) felt clean, easy to style and slightly fragranced.However, the results using this Mojo Shampoo made my hair no cleaner or easier to style than with my usual shampoo brand, Alpecin. For the price of this single 250ml bottle of Mojo Shampoo you could buy a double pack of Alpecin C1 (2 x 250ml) and still have a bit of change. It also smells nice. Does this justify the frankly excessive price...?Having used it a few times, I'd have to say no. It's definitely got a nice smell; akin to a good quality bodywash that is part of a cologne range. That's where the question of value comes in. If this was a labelled product from a designer range then I could see it selling to people who pay the extra for labels. Mojo Hair just doesn't have that brand cachet (as yet).So as part of the overall user experience I reckon it's a competent enough shampoo; leaving my hair clean and also smelling quite nice in use. The bottle is slim enough to be used as part of a travel toiletries kit (not in hand baggage though...remember the restrictions!) although the flip-up dispenser could be prone to leaking whereas a screw top wouldn't.
