Phobya81136 Connector for Cooling Fan (Black)

Ordered this to place in my new case as motherboard only had 2 fan headers, unfortunately the splitter I received is defective as 3 of the 8 ports don't work.Of course other than that, this is a great piece of kit to have in a PC.

works well, I have this in my case to split a pwm signal to a bunch of fans and it works perfectly my only gripe would be theres no blank covers on each of the fan connectors so if like me your not using all the fan slots then you might want to tape over the spares so they cant short against the case or be inadvertently touched with some insulation tape ....other than that I've had it in my case for a almost a month and no problems at all

After an initial botched delivery I am pleasantly surprised; works as intended; good customer service would recommend on that basis alone. P.S The sweets were a good touch :P

my bios didn't let me control speed beyond the max speed at the 12v line, despite having a 4 pin out from the splitter to the motherboard,it could have been something I done wrong, but I just wasn't able to configure it properly.

For some reason 1 of my fans would over power the splitter. But worked perfectly

1 of the wires hadn't been connected properly so had to strip some of the shroud off the end to make it contact with head but works fine just the same.

If your fans are voltage controlled, then this will run all of them at full speed, not a problem for me, but worth noting.I have 3 fans running off it with no issues, cable is braided and black if you're concerned about aesthetics, it's fine and should fit any case. Ultimately it's a budget fan splitter, and works perfectly fine as that.

If you are buying this for controlling your fans speed.. dont. This works only as a 12V splitter which gives all the fans connected 100% rpm with no possibility of regulation.As a power splitter 5/5As a fan controller 0/5.Going to mark as 5 as it is fulfilling the purpose. My fault as I didn't read description properly.
