Brylcreem Strong 24 Hour Hold Gel 150 ml

I'm an old man with fine whispy grey hair that I'd like to control, this was far too heavy.

I thoroughly recommend this gel to those of us who are thin on top but will never go fully bald. I have spent years having a number two haircut as my locks seemed so untidy after my hair grew on a little. I tried using the original Brylcreem on the occasions that I did want my hair longer, but it didn't look very acceptable with strands springing up here and there. This 'Strong Gel' by Brylcreem is just the ticket though. When applied to lightly dampened hair the gel will hold your hair tidily to whatever conformation you have combed it into, all day. it ( sort-of ) stays that way the next day too if a wet comb is used, with the hair trained to lay that way. It doesn't make hair look like it's made out of plastic like many gels do. I won't be growing my hair halfway down my back, as it was during my Hippie days, but look forward to having, at least, a bit of a white/grey mane to match my white/grey beard now. I have been released from having to look like an elderly skinhead at last, which I must thank this gel for.Eamonn

After moving from the North to Essex, I found myself lacking in the hairstyle department. No longer was running some water through my hair and a quick comb good enough. So after consulting my fellow male Essex friends, I discovered that the entire male population of the county use Brylcreem to erect their quiffs. Since using Brylcreem, not only have I: become more socially accepted by the people of Essex, developed something called streetcred, but I have also a hair quiff erection of my very own. (Albeit it small at the moment as I am trying to grow it.) This pleases me indeed. Many thanks Unilever!

Pretty good stuff here. I'm no expert in hair styles, but you have to have the right hair really. I find this tends to work a bit better on thin, slightly damp hair. I put wax on first, and then blow dry my hair. Then I apply this gel and again, blow dry it to make sure it holds all day. A pretty good product.

Decent gel, lasts a long time, good hold. Not dramatically better than products I've used which are a pound or two cheaper though so I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this one again.

This stuff is great. Not the same as the original cream I used years ago but this is just as good maybe better. always liked Brylcream products they never let you down. Highly recommend.
