Meinl Percussion Aluminum Series Doumbek - Medium-Large Handdrum - Synthetic Head - Diameter 8.5 Inches - Aluminum, Black (HE-3000)

I previously imported a doumbek with very similar features from Israel and paid a fortune for it (and also in import tax). I wasn't happy with the sound it produced so managed to sell it and buy this model instead. I fell in love with it straight away. The vinyl covering gives it a slightly more mellow note than it's plain aluminium counterparts and a lovely soft feel that is easy on the hands. This model is also quite lightweight, fantastic for carrying it around. I like that the screws on the head are sunk below the surface level and also that when played it gives a deep and lasting resonance, so much better than my original drum. The inclusion of a case, spare head and tuning key make it an ideal purchase for me and I'd highly recommend it for beginners and experts alike, it's a really fun, easy and versatile drum that will reward keen players.

I love this product that I received. Its nice cause of the leather covering around it.The shipment was here in 2 days, the estimated delivery date was after 5 days of the order placed. The only thing needed was a bit of tuning.

Instrument semi-professionnel. Les basses sont assez profondes sans être exagérées et les aigus sont bien maîtrisées. L'idéal pour quelqu'un qui désire commencer le doumbek.
