After reading up on the potential pitfalls of some USB-C to USB-A cables, I went off the list approved by Benson Leung. Belkin is a reputable brand, so it gives you a bit more confidence purchasing their products. The quality seems good, and the 6ft length is really useful. Because I'm only using it for charging purposes, the fact it is only USB 2.0 doesn't bother me. Due to it not having the bulkier high speed data transfer wiring inside, the cable itself is much thinner than some of the others I've bought. This doesn't mean to say its less robust, but it makes it more flexible when using, which is a bonus.

This is an excellent little cable, bought specifically to connect my recent Apple iPad to the desktop computer. The cable itself is flexible and seems robust, so that's recommended. But Belkin, you really need to take a lesson from Apple on packaging and make it more eco-friendly. A glossy cardboard box with transparent plastic window, a plastic inner tray … and the outer box has a flap over the window SECURED BY A MAGNET. For goodness sake, these resources are valuable and this is a criminal waste. Most people will simply throw the box away. I'll take the magnet out and use it for something, so thanks for the free magnet but it was completely unnecessary. Do better, chaps.

The connectors feel study when plugged in and the cable fast charges my LG S5 SE via the original phone charger; it also works fine as a data lead for ADB. The cable is slightly thinner than my older USB ones (the old ones are extensions, Micro-B and Mini-B), but about the same thickness as the USB-C that came with my phone. The Belkin feels a little stiffer, which is neither a good or bad thing, but just an observation.

There's been wayyyyy too much messing around with manufactures who should know better! Selling cr*p USB-A to C cables... But Belkin has done it right first time, at a premium yes, but it's safe and well built and I would like to think it's worth the £15 I spent on a USB cable... If you want to be completely sure that you're getting the right USB cable though, this is the one for you. I've been using it overnight since November 2015 and it's held up perfectly so far :)

It will only charge my laptop while it is off have tried it on multiple MacBooks and all have the same result guess useful if leaving laptop to charge overnight but most of the time I need to charge my laptop while I am using it, unfortunate as would have been really useful otherwise other than the fact it does not work properly it does seem like it is of good quality

Good product, with it being 3 metres long there is a temptation to hold your phone in your hand whilst charging which damages the wire.

This cable is much like all cables similar to it but I did feel that the plastic on the end was not quite as durable as some that I have had in the past.

They are good quality leads however I marking these down as this is a second one I've had. so far this one has been ok but the first one that I bought (not from this seller I hasten to add it was bought from Halfords however it was exact same product) I'm only using it in the car and that one has failed already. It's not the sellers fault it's a belkin issue. however this lead is a good length and my daughter loves it in pink it matches her tablet.

Amazon please fix the listing! For product item number: F2CU032bt04-WHT sold by amazon.com, the item is actually a 4 foot USB-A to USB-C USB 2.0 cable. The picture is correct the title/description is wrong! This cable only supports 1.5A (as per the USB spec for A to C cables) This cable does not support Thunderbolt in any way Anyways, with that out of the way... The price is pretty high but the cable itself works as expected.

It does what it is supposed to do. I have used it for about three months now and it hasn't failed.

Tanto es así que hasta Apple se ha enganchado a este nuevo estándar al que se le puede sacar una tasa de transferencia de archivos muy alta y cargas ultra rápidas, datos, señal de vídeo, audio,... Ahora estamos en período de transición y este cable es una muestra de ello, al unir dos generaciones distintas de conectores en cada extremo. Si tienes un smartphone que no sea de última generación y un portátil que sí lo sea, necesitas este cable para poder conectar ambos dispositivos, eso o comprar un convertidor. El cable es bastante grueso debido a su longitud de 1,2 m, la calidad de los materiales parece correcta, la transmisión de datos y la velocidad de carga también, así que tampoco creo un cable necesite más explicaciones.
