I feel so much safer carrying the SABRE pepper gel with flip top and clip. It’s compact and lightweight, so I can easily clip it to my purse, keys, or waistband without it getting in the way. What I really like is that it’s gel, not spray — which means it won’t blow back in your face with the wind. The flip-top safety cover gives me peace of mind that it won’t accidentally go off, but it’s also super quick to access in an emergency. I haven’t had to use it (thankfully), but just having it with me makes me feel more confident when I’m walking alone. It’s a smart investment for personal safety.

The media could not be loaded. The Sabre Red Pepper Gel pepper spray is where it’s at! The design is simple, but rugged. Lightweight, but packs a mean punch. As dad and husband I make sure that my kids and wife have theirs all the time! As well as making sure we replace when necessary! Do yourself a big favor and get your family some to help protect them from whatever comes their way!

Perfect size to keep anywhere. The way they designed the trigger makes it almost impossible to spray in the wrong direction. The trigger lock keeps you from spraying accidentally. This gel version is far superior to the spray because you don't have to worry much about wind. It is also more effective as it stick to the target.I have not had to spray anyone so I can't speak about effectiveness but Sabre is a well known brand so I am not worried about that.

Got a bright colored pepper spray because it’s easier to find in my purse. I love the Sabre brand and I will be taking this on my walks or out and about. This is my second Sabre pepper spray and this type of spray is better!! It’s a safe top. Just place your thumb under and then click down!! Smooth on my hand and small enough to fit my hand!

The biggest problem is that the bottom can come apart.The bottom is only held on by small plastic clips, which seam to weaken over time. One accidental yank on the pepper spray when the keys get caught on a pocket or something else will result in the bottom coming off. From then on, it's weaker and falls off more often.(I might try super gluing it on to prevent this.)Overall it's a good keyring pepper spray. The finger protection ensures that it never goes off by accident. I've carried this daily for about 3 years now with zero accidental discharges. It's a little bulky, and I do wish they made a smaller one as an option. And the gel is easy to use and aim.

This is my second purchase of pepper gel from Sabra.The first time I purchased I tested it out in the desert away from animals and people. After spraying a bush I couldn’t get close to it without my eyes watering. It works great and is effective. Just make sure you get use to holding it so you have muscle memory. The fingers should be in the indents.People write they carry these in their pockets or in their purses, XXX, it won’t do much good unless it is in your hand. I have mine hooked to the outside of my purse or clipped to my pants. Always available at a seconds notice.I feel comfortable walking my dog after dark, or coming come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying the gel instead of the spray. No spray back on you if you are downwind.

I bought these for my daughter and me, then bought more to give as small gifts. I like the pepper gel rather than spray, and appreciate the usage instructions. Haven't needed to use it.
