Excellent Product - 5* Home Relief
I had really bad toothache a good number of years back & I went to the chemists for some Bonjela to maybe help me with the paracetamol that I was taking when the receptionist at the chemists mentioned this stuff to me, she really praised it so I bought it & the couple of times that I’ve had a toothache since I immediately buy this!It works wonders & that’ll be down to the 10% Benzocaine in it it numbs the tooth well & if you can take something a little stronger than paracetamol like Co-Codamol or Ibuprofen this stuff will get you through until you get to your dentists appointment or until you can get an emergency dentists appointment.Yes both the Red & Blue Boxes of the product (pictured) house rather small tubes but you don’t need a lot of the gel, if you can precisely hit the hole in your tooth you’ve numbed the pain with a tiny blob say the size of a small apple pip if not smaller that’ll depend on the hole size & depth I guess & a top tip is to use a double ended cotton wool bud instead of your finger tip to apply the gel as you’ll get better application without it hitting & numbing your tongue or your lips. Both work great they really do, I personally use the Red Boxed Gel for teeth & although the ingredients are virtually identical in both boxes the Red Boxed Gel is somehow way more effective on teeth & the Blue Boxed Gel is extremely effective on gums without being too harsh like the Red Boxed Gel is so when it’s needed I use the Red Gel on holes in the tooth but it’ll work all the same with missing fillings, chipped teeth where the nerve is exposed, cracks on a tooth basically I use a small blob on one side of the cotton wool bud for the tooth & immediately afterwards I use the Blue Boxed Gel on the opposite end of the bud & I’ll carefully rub it around the gums at the base of the same tooth using a tiny tad more & it works wonders, the relief is excellent! Now both Coloured tubes of Gel alone would work for pain relief in said situations but that little mix with some careful oral relief as in paracetamol (again for me) should get you by until you can see a dentist & for what they do they’re pretty inexpensive I must say, they’re both great products.

Takes tooth and gum ache away
My wife used this for her gum pain caused by a wisdom tooth. It's not just for tooth-ache, it handles gum pain aswell, and really well. So well that it leaves the mouth a bit numb, which may be good or bad depending on your stand.Appearance isn't great, the packet is ugly but haha this isn't for that.

Temporary immediate relief of toothache
This product is excellent in providing temporary relief from toothache, till a dentist appointment can be obtained. It works rapidly and provides lasting relief. It is a tiny tube, but only a small amount is needed to cover the area of tooth affected, and I found that the tube lasted a week, with multiple use daily.I cut the end off a cotton bud and used the end to apply a small amount,as it seemed obvious that squeezing some onto a finger would result in using far too much, which would be wasteful. This tube contains a 10% strength of local anaesthetic and if you consider that the strength used by medical staff to suture wounds is 2% then this indicates the strength of the stuff.I would imagine it would work well for mouth ulcers too.Recommend!

FAST ACTING & EFFECTIVE RELIEF FOR TOOTHACHE/TOOTH PAIN‼️
I purchased this Oragel anaesthetic gel as I have a broken filling which is pretty temperamental in terms of it causing pain, & obviously in this covid-19 situation its particularly difficult to get it seen to, so i was actually browsing for a decent temporary filling kit, when i came across this gel.Having years of dental nursing experience, on reading the active anaesthetic ingredients in this gel, & also on reading several reviews, i decided to opt for this, being ideal for temporarily & effectively relieving tooth pain.It arrived speedily, which was great. It is a very small tube, so it would be worth purchasing 2 of these. (To give a visual idea of its size, in comparison to a standard tube of bonjella, this tube is not even half that size), however, a little of this gel does go a long way.In its consistency, & clear colour, this gel appears very much the same as bonjella. It is also applied in the same way, of applying topically to the tooth with the tip of your finger. A pea sized amount is recommended, applied directly to the tooth, & massaged into & around it. It is fast acting, & 'really' numbs, - to the effect that if this makes contact with your cheek or your tongue, those also go very numb, - much like the numbness of a local anaesthetic dental injection, however, this gel, though is very fast acting, so ideal for instant relief, it isn't very long lasting, in its numbing effect, so although this gel can be reapplied once the numbness has worn off, this is most effective in conjunction with pain relief medication, such as paracetamol.Although this gel is marketed as a 'toothache' pain reliever, this can also be used on the soft tissue within the mouth, - the cheeks, gums, & tongue, - & is VERY effective, as in much more so that bonjella, & obviously much faster acting too.As for the taste, I would say that again, this tastes very much like that of bonjella. I wouldn't say this is a horrid taste, but it does deffo have a clinical taste, but isn't strong, & dissappears on its numbing affect.I would deffo recommend this gel, if you are looking for effective & fast acting relief, but due to its 'not long lasting', this may be more appropriate alongside over the counter pain relief medication, rather than a stand alone pain reliever.I hope you have found this review helpful 😉,xx

Short term pain relief gel for aching teeth
Sold as providing temporary pain relief for aching teeth, this can also be used for painful gums too, though the blue oragel packets have a slightly more pleasant tast. Not cheap at £4 or over per tube, and the tubes are quite small. The gell does wrk well, though, for short periods of time, and I find it pretty useful.Remember to refer longer term pain to a dentist.
