I mix this powder with some glycerin to make a diy scalp treatment. No discernable scent, it doesn't dissolve completely but it can get mostly smooth in a mixture. Need very little for one use so this packet will last me a long time! The bag it comes in is resealable but I would still transfer it to a more air tight container to keep it fresh longer.

I use a lot of this clay in my cosmetic formulation so I wanted to try it out. It’s a nice quality clay! It comes well packaged in a mylar bag that is easy to reseal. I find the price to be reasonable although it’s no bargain. And it’s certainly fine if not excellent to use on its own as a mask met with a little bit of hydrosol or water.

These have big chunks of shell and is not a powder. Super dangerous to use as a exfoliate!
